The Wally cannot read a poll.
POLITICO conducts a poll of Tea Partiers.
The Wally quotes a misreading of the poll that twists it to mean that the the Tea Partiers are divided between Palin and Paul supporters. Therefore the right is crazy.
He could not have bothered to look at the poll itself – which has just about the same number of Partiers preferring “Other” as either Palin or Paul.
This need of his to create evidence to justify his contempt for the right is risible.
He must simply enjoy smearing and taunting.
The intellectual heft of that site has dwindled to nothing – as the PowerLine boys and others have recognized.
With all that is happening in the world, he sets up a Punch and Judy show for puppets to clobber each other.
What is the origin of The Wally? All the other nics are self explanatory,this one eludes me.
Alludes to the Wally of Swat. A potentate somewhere between Pakistan and India whose glory days are long gone. CJ likes to swat his commenters. There is also an allusion in the name “Wally” to “Where’s Wally?” – the English version of “Where’s Waldo.” Someone lost in a crowd – a dork and a nebish.
It is my personal nic for him, though I would be delighted if it were to catch on.

The posters at LGF now are mostly unemployed young punks who think that they know all of the answers. A lot of worthless college degrees with a chip on the shoulder because of their failed lives. It must suck to have a BS degree and be stuck in a dead end job in fast food or repairing violins. Heh.
