Charles “Icarus” Johnson defends Anti-Semitic Joke

My poor son Icarus always wanted to fit in. When it was cool to be on the Right, he defended Bush to the fullest. Now that he has join the Totalitarian Progressive side, he has been growing cold on Israel/Jewish interests. In the latest example of his shift, Icarus defends a nasty Anti-Semitic joke by Barack Hussein Obama’s National Security adviser James Jones.
Icarus never learns no matter how many times he crashes into the sea! Now he is defending Anti-Semitism to please his new Leftist freinds!

Such demonization as expressed by National Security Advisor James Jones is a prelude to genocide.

This is an old Jewish joke – which, like all true Jewish jokes, is both self-mocking and self-affirming. I heard a version where the thirsty (and hungry) man is just a man – could even be a Jew too. Many Jewish jokes play on the stereotype of Jews as being smart. By making the thirsty man a Taliban, the joke is ruined. The Jews are cruel and money-grubbing – to a Muslim, no less. (And we know all about how the Israelis deny the Palestinians water).
One does not have to take offense at all. But it takes no work at all to see the yawning cultural chasm between the joke teller and Jews.
The Wally, like the joke teller, is culturally tone-deaf.
