Charles “Icarus” Johnson ignorant of Mexican Holidays
May 6, 2010
Oh man when will Icarus ever learn? He was comparing American students wearing an American flag on Cinco de Mayo to mexican wearing Mexican Flags on 4th of July. There is a huge problem with this analogy. Cinco de Mayo is NOT a major holiday in Mexico. In fact it was used by Corona to market their beer in the United States. It is nothing but a minor holiday in mexico!
Icarus stick to Jazz Guitars. National holiday comparisons are not your specialty.

Let alone the fact that this school was in the USA (or well, California, which is kind of like America). Yes, if I were attending school in Mexico, and I wore an American flag on their Independence Day, I might expect some testiness. But not here.
Cinco de Mayo is mainly celebrated in the Mexican state of Puebla. It commemorates the ragtag Mexican Army’s victory over the powerful French army on My 5, 1862. Like Daedalus mentioned above, it’s NOT a major national holiday in Mexico. hey, Chuck the Dumbass, Mexican Independence Day is September 16, same as my birthday. Pendejo.
Just when you think that LGF could not get any more stupid, they get even more stupid.
He got that from me:

And there is no school on July 4th.
What concerns me most, and is completely missed by chucky’s drug addled brain is this.
If an immigrant is offended by the American flag on any day in a U.S school, it tells me volumes about that immigrant.
They are intolerant of the country they call home, or wish to call home.
And the fact that they would express anger or hint at threats against other kids wearing the flag tells me the school is appeasing the trouble makers.
And that makes me call them cowards, Just like CJ!
