Icarus Predicts the demise of BP

May 16, 2010

Totalitarian Progressive Charles “Icarus” Johnson needs to stick to Jazz Music. He is not a good at analyzing politics and science. Well now he uses his Nostradamus to make a bold predication, he claims British Petroleum will soon disappear.

The Jazz Guitarist really likes to make bold predictions. We will hold him to this one.

This is another example of the pony tailed asshole stating a “fact” and all his followers blindly agreeing. What is happening lately is Charles makes a statement and his followers keep quiet.

I am filing this statement along side the ectopic pregnancy one. Misguided, false and not researched.

Note to whoever… BP is now bp and it was British Petroleum in 1987.

Today it is as British as Burger King… (look that one up and weep)

A 50 million dollar liability will not drive a company the size of bp out of business, chuckie.

You lose, but thanks for playing!

bp will pay the whole cost. They will ignore the $50 millon/$75 million cap.

Trust me, bp will pay all the costs. However they WILL NOT be paying thousands of dollars to drunk of their ass Louisiana shrimp fishermen that used to fish in the late ’70s and only have a boat that last saw water when Katrina hit.

I agree with bp, they will pay VALID claims.

We’ll see how that works out for them. No matter what bp does, somebody’s going to go running to the media with a grievance after having their claim turned down. I think they’re going to regret announcing that.

Never mind politics and science, this is a question of business and law. Not too bright in those areas, either.

He is probably thinking that this compares to Bhopal, which put Union Carbide out of business. Implicit in that is that an oil spill that kills some storks is comparable to 2500 dead Indians. The is the mind of the progressive environmentalist.

I have some BP stock. My guy says this is actually a buying opportunity. I guess we’ll see. I’m gonna sit tight on what I have.

Personally if I had the money I’d be buying BP, actually if you had a chance earlier today you could have bought for ~45 and resold at 47. I’d say that’s an okay return even on one day.
