Ignoramus, or Deliberately Obtuse? You Decide.

May 16, 2010

And with that, Icarus is puzzled at the lack of connection between DADT and Saudi money. Let me explain it. Harvard refused DoD money because of the claim that the DoD was homophobic due to DADT. Got that much, Icarus? Now Gingrich points out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is far more homophobic than the DoD could every hope to be with punishments up to and including death for homosexual activity. So to be consistent, Harvard should also refuse Saudi money, just like they refused DoD money. It’s really not that hard.

Oh, and btw, Prince Alwaleed is quite irrelevant, because Fox News isn’t boycotting the DoD. And btw, it doesn’t much make sense to boycott a branch of the federal government for a policy that is an act of congress. It would make much more sense to boycott the entire federal government, including all research grants.

Make sense, Icarus?

I didn’t know the Republicans want top establish a Theocracy. They controlled all 3 Branches of Government from 2002-2006 and they governed like Leftists.

This pisses me off for several reasons:

    1) “Homophobic” is an intentionally pseudoscientific bullshit term. It is intended to make any criticism, opposition, or difference of opinion regarding anything the gay-rights lobby wants illegitimate by implying that the criticism, opposition, or difference of opinion is a matter of mental illness. It is, in other words, a bigger lie than the term “antisemitism,” which was invented for the purpose of providing a “scientific”-sounding euphemism for “Jew-hate.”

One can disagree, even vehemently, with the actions or goals of the political “gay-rights” lobby without in any way hating those who experience same-sex attraction.

    2) The gay-rights lobby is, fundamentally, a human-rights lobby. That is to say, it is not seeking civil rights for those whom it claims to represent; it is seeking special rights at the expense of the rest of society. The effort to pass off “human-rights” lobbying as civil rights lobbying is one of the great political frauds of the last fifty years.

    3) To claim that the Republican Party is as opposed to homosexual behavior as the regime in Saudi Arabia is a flat-out lie.

The Jazz artist is an endless source of amusement. Just when you think his commentary cannot be more vapid and vacuous, he surprises us.

The title is funny. Considering his own words contradict it.

Gingrich: Obama Should Withdraw Kagan’s Nomination Because Harvard Takes Saudi Money

Here’s Newt Gingrich racing for the bottom on Fox News, saying Obama should withdraw Elena Kagan’s nomination because she’s “anti-military,” then launching an attack on Harvard (where Kagan was dean of the law school), because they accept Saudi money.

And of course, no link to the quote anywhere to check the rest of the story. The only link goes to an earlier lgf article and he goes off trying to play gotcha with newt. Hey CJ- prove your first point before you head on to your next one.

Wrong again as usual, the quote is in the Youtube video.

Well if that was his proof- he flat out lied.

Newt said no to her because of her anti-military stance. The rest was just a rant (like he admitted on into the story). The title is deliberately misleading.

        Your master is an idjit.

She filed a brief to the Supreme Court last May, arguing that the Foreign Sovereign Immunity Act shielded Saudi princes from the suit’s claims that they gave money to Osama bin Laden and other terrorist leaders or to charities that funneled funds to al Qaeda.

Now you’re being disingenuous and projecting your obsession onto Charles.
Your blog is ranting about LGF 24/7 and Charles seldom ever mentions your blog or the banned posters.

Act like an adult for a change. Get over it, you were banned and you have another place to post.

Why you so concern over what we think of the Jazz Man? We will trash him all we want and you and him can do nada!

You say the Mad King “never mentions” those he’s banned? You lie.

The Mad King, lying in his teeth—or under some fevered delusion of the brain—personally made false claims about me, for one, mere months ago, long after I had taken my leave. And, before I left his stagnant domain last year—after which he banned me—he was posting breathless updates about what was going on here every other day or so. I do not visit his ad-riddled site, but I profoundly doubt he’s changed his behavior in this regard; he’s obsessed with this place, because he is narcissistically obsessed with what others think of him.

More to the point, since the Mad King and his personality cultists continue to discuss the issues of the day—not only avidly espousing positions that they themselves vocally despised mere months ago, but making utter howlers in the process—and are too terrified of stepping outside their game preserve to defend those howlers, it is inevitable that he and his acolyte’s antics be discussed.

      Snowball doesn’t mention the banned??????
Why just a few weeks ago he made a nasty comment about Weasel Zippers. Oh and here is the link…… http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/36065_Anatomy_of_a_Wingnut_Smear
This is just one many that I know of since I don’t go to that site much.
Apparently you don’t read his posts.
Maybe you should act like an adult. Why oh why do you come here to defend someone you don’t even know? Or better yet why in the hell do you come here at all.
Face up to it you are the stalker.

Wow! He is called down on it and he takes offense that someone noticed his ignorance instead of asking his posters he should have figured that one out on his own….don’t you think?
Just trying to keep it real for you.
