Charles Johnson: Liar or Idiot? You Decide.

May 29, 2010

This smear looks damning on its face, except for one detail:

The detail is  that “teaparty.org” is not the national tea party website, and the local tea party organization in Houston has already shunned Dale Robertson and his group:

Unfortunately, Dale is very much not a hero to those who first encountered him in February of last year. He has been described as a fake, a con artist, and worse by frustrated tea party groups across the land. Houston’s, in particular, is so upset at being associated with the man that they sent out the following press release:

1. He is NOT a member of our Leadership team.

2. He owns a website with which we have never been affiliated.

3. He has never been a part of organizing any of the Tea Party rallies in the Houston area, or any other area that we can find.

4. We addressed some issues involving him back in April. Here it is on our website, where Mr. Robertson himself comments: http://houstontps.org/?p=318

5. We do not choose to associate with people that use his type of disgusting language.

In fact, when Mr. Johnson placed this blog post on May 28, it was already old news. The PJM article debunking this is dated February 3. In fact, Mr. Johnson has already blogged one this very subject. Maybe his cannabinol-addled brain doesn’t recall?

Liar or fool? You decide.

Of course, this doesn’t help the credibility of the SPLC, either. They’ve been stepping in one cowchip after another of late.

    Fact check your what, Chuck?

There’s more in that link in #4. If I had to bet even money, I’d bet that this guy is a hard left MOBY. So of course the left wing media and extreme left wing groups like SPLC swallow it hook, line, and sinker. It’s because they want to.

Dale Robertson deliberately misspelled the n-word, as he is sensitive to the consternation that would be generated by the whole word used with all the letters. Little did he realize how quickly his ruse would be spotted by racist-spotter extraordinaire, the Wally of Swat. Very hard to pull the wool over the Wally’s eyes. He knows n—-r, when he sees n—ar. These two mighty adversaries are a match for each other.

As for Dale’s basketball memes, “homie”, and innuendo of corruption in Chicago – these are racist because they reference black culture and the President is black? Or are they classist because the Pres is a cut above the homeboy? One can be pretty sure Dale meant to be insulting, but did he succeed? The Pres does play basketball (and golf), does come from a corrupt Chicago political culture. But we should all remember that he is descended from Kenyan aristocracy. So “homie” is just so-so as an insult.

And why should the Tea Party’s repudiation of Dale make any difference to the Wally? If Dale says he is a Tea Party man, then that is what he is.
Swat him. Swat the horse he rode in on. “I am the Wally of Swat. Look on me ye mighty racists and despair.”

He knows that this guy has no standing within the Tea Party but likes to roll him out as a pinata for his blog. Never mind the guy has been completely discredited and disowned. We can’t let the truth stand in the way of this one guy who is obviously a threat to all.
