Icarus caught in another spin

June 9, 2010

Charles “Icarus” Johnson loves to spin the news to fit his conspiratorial world view. He is dishonest even reporting simple news. Last Night in the California Republican Primary for Secretary of State, Damon Dunn crushed Orly Taitz by a whopping 75%-25% win. Normally this would be a landslide and the loser forgotten. Not in the world of the obscure mediocre 70′s/80′s Jazz Guitarist, he twists to emphasize the loser got 25% of the vote.

This is a landslide win for Damon Dunn by any standard. But Charles ever the spin artists focuses on the loser’s vote percentage. He is a spin artist and needs to be called out.

That’s supposed to be a surprising statistic when 33% of Americans believe in 9/11 conspiracy theories?

    What is a birther?
Someone who wants proof that Obama was born in America and who may, or may not, believe that absent that proof Obama was not born here.
A birther is someone who believes in government records.
Why would a birther not make a good Secretary of State?

Ah hell, I voted for Orly. Why not – I knew Dunn was going to win and I just thought it might be fun to piss off people like Snowball to see her get SOME votes at least.
