Embracing “multiculturalism:” should mean respecting other cultures as long as you assimilate to the culture of the nation you have immigrated to.
Going back about 10yrs, before the Liberals came to power. That was the track of multiculturalism in Canada. You come in, be a part of society, add something unique and everyone is happy, and it was like that for around 20 years. When the Chretien years rolled in, it got all funny where the dominant part of society was supposed to bow and scrape, and give them “breathing space” and so on. The shit is hitting the fan here now, and being that people don’t like it when things go against the status quo here. Should get interesting.
So now you have shitty crap like HRC(human rights commission), going apeshit and being above the law. Yeah, the stupidity is running rampant.
It’s easy to embrace “multiculturalism” in Canada. Not so easy in Saudi Arabia.
