Bush Lied!

July 24, 2010

LGF continues to show it’s radical leftism. Totalitarian Progressive Fozzie Bear repeats the leftist propaganda that Bush lied to get into Iraq.

Fozzie Bear is just an example of how far Left LGF is. Clearly it’s an arm now of moveon.org!

Wonder what Chuck thinks about that. Chuck was a strong supporter of the Iraq intervention back in the day when he was sane. I guess he’s probably OK with that sort of leftist garbage now.

    One correction:

Moveon.org and the Soros machine pays its agitators, while Chuckles still has to beg for money.

It’s okay for Saddam to have killed Kurds, according to the Leftist, but it isn’t okay for Bush to have killed Ba’athists and Mujahedin…

Explain this one to me, folks, because it escapes the bounds of reason…

Chucky’s no bear. He’s the conquest of the bear. To be more precise….he’s the catcher.

As I recall, our troops WERE greeted with flowers and adulation in many cities in Iraq. The general population there hated Saddam Hussein and were thrilled to be rid of the ruthless dictator.

Why does this “Busch lied” meme still exist? What possible motive would he have to start an unnecessary war? Oil? No. Revenge? For what? To enrich his buddies in the military/industrial complex? Oh please! It is hard to believe that people on the left are so blinded by hate that they are willing to believe anything bad about people they disagree with, that they sacrifice all reason and common sense. Liberalism is indeed a mental disorder.

Relative (mother actually) sent me a copy of Harry Waxman’s “Iraq on the Record” document. Anyone know a site that’s good for rebutting it?

The worse things get under Obama and the Dhims the more they have to dredge up Bush to change the subject.

“In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members, though there is apparently no evidence of his involvement in the terrible events of September 11, 2001. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons. Should he succeed in that endeavor, he could alter the political and security landscape of the Middle East, which as we know all too well affects American security.” — Hillary Clinton, October 10, 2002

“(W)e need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime. We all know the litany of his offenses. He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation. …And now he is miscalculating America’s response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction. That is why the world, through the United Nations Security Council, has spoken with one voice, demanding that Iraq disclose its weapons programs and disarm. So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real, but it is not new. It has been with us since the end of the Persian Gulf War.” — John Kerry, Jan 23, 2003

“There is no doubt that Saddam Hussein’s regime is a serious danger, that he is a tyrant, and that his pursuit of lethal weapons of mass destruction cannot be tolerated. He must be disarmed.” — Ted Kennedy, Sept 27, 2002

“As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I am keenly aware that the proliferation of chemical and biological weapons is an issue of grave importance to all nations. Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process.” — Nancy Pelosi, December 16, 1998

President Bush may have been mistaken, but he did not intentionally deceive.

    • July 25, 2010 at 3:43 pm | #19

He would have found a heckuva lot MORE evidence of WMDs if Saddam had not been given so much time to offload the evidence to jihadis in Syria.
