I say that cartoon man is too neat and thin to be “our” Jazz Man.
Got that right. And he has a dog. Chuck doesn’t strike me as a dog person. But the point remains, lol!

The cartoon is a slam on Dave Brubeck, who was, btw, beyond the valley of awesome.

Wow.
Somehow, I’d never seen Segovia play, but my Dad used to have his records back in the Sixties, along with a couple of other guitar gods like Joe Pass, and Django Reinhardt. My Dad was never a musician, and neither am I, but we both developed huge appreciations for the guitar gods of our separate times.
