Lewd: Cantor should be Impeached for Speaking Out against Mosque

August 12, 2010

That’s correct, right here:

In this imagined totalitarian “better world”, Eric Cantor would be impeached for exercising his constitutionally-protected right to free speech. It takes a pretty dim bulb not to see the irony in that.

Dude.

    And KKKillgore makes a prediction:

Cantor is clearly aware that his opposition to the Cordoba House violates American freedom of religion, but hey! I mean, come on! These are Muslims we’re talking about!

He’s going to have to apologize for this one. I’m sure it’s the kind of thing wingnuts say in private but it’s not the kind of thing they can get away with in the open. They need to at least keep a think veil on the opposition to Constitutionally protected freedoms.

Read the damn amendment again KKKilgore. Congress shall make no law. And of course, the states, municipalities, etc. must follow likewise. Please to show me the LAW that has been passed forbidding the practice of Islam or calling for the destruction of every mosque in America, also forbidding their call to prayer, etc. Because THAT is freedom of religion.

We get to oppose a mosque being built near Ground Zero. Period. While you are ranting about one phrase in the First Amendment, maybe you should get your heads out of your collective asses and read the rest of it.

Because I will be blocking an copying Quack Quack’s ridiculous rant right into my comments. Oh, and I also will be mentioning the late night ride of KKKilgore over to Hot Air and ask WaPo when it decided it no longer had anything resembling journalistic standards.

I’ve believed for a long time that Johnson himself has that same sort of genocidal mindset. That’s how evil I think he is. If he were in power, my guess is that Christians would be his first targets and they would not fare well at all under a Johnson regime.

Pretty sure Lud has, more than once, seriously advocated exterminating AGW ‘deniers’. Post-normal justice, driven by post-normal science, not that it doesn’t have terrible historical antecedents. AGW ‘deniers’ would probably be first against the wall in Lud’s brave new world.

Well it’s not the most effective epithet – i for one have no clue. It evokes ‘mafia don’ or the like to me, except never saw that spelled with a ‘k’.

Guess I could google it, but somehow that seems a waste of time, learning another epithet.

What’s an acceptable alternative epithet for ‘kapo’, which I’m guessing was used to try to capture Lud’s documentable calls for extermination of entire classes of people (e.g. AGW ‘deniers’)?

I’d have to say that I’m not a big fan of throwing around epithets like “kapo”—it is too much like the Lewd Wig himself throwing around epithets like “vermin”.

Epithets do not advance the argument; they inhibit and short-circuit it. Look at how the Mad King, and the Democrats, short-circuit any intelligent discussion by yelping “racist” at the drop of a hat. I’d rather destroy an argument by taking it apart stick by stick than devolving to the “neener neener” level that epithets inevitably create.

I’d have to say on that score that I am some little at fault for falling prey to temptation to the extent of assigning nics to Mad King Yertle and to Lewd Wig. Normally, I attempt to avoid making fun of nics, since there is little sport in doing so. I have made an exception in these two instances only: with the Mad King, it is because his behavior over the last year or two has so very closely resembled that of Yertle the Turtle, and because he was so ponderously humorous about the “turtle stack” in his creationist threads. As far as the Lewd Wig is concerned, his fixation on what is or is not “100% American” (in his own eyes only, of course) dovetails too perfectly with his nic to resist referring to him as the “100% a merkin Lewd Wig.” It seems only right; both of these figures of fun have manifestly earned their names.

No need to worry about cookies. Trying not to get to technical, but Charles’ code can’t read Blogmocracy cookies, or any cookies other than ones he’s written when you’re on his site. So the only cookies he can access are the ones he’s written that track the state of your browser when it’s on his site. I.e. he cannot track where you go on the web.

He can, however, track where you come from when you first hit his site, if you are ‘referred’ to his site by a link to it from somewhere else. So if you follow links from here (DoD or Blogmocracy) to LGF he can detect that and it will give him proof that your nic at LGF has been straying from the reservation, visiting forbidden places on the web.

Lud explains his position is more nuanced than ‘extermination’ (‘extermination’ meaning ‘execute them all‘).

Lud wants to try, then execute only specific subsets of AGW ‘deniers’. And for good measure he throws in a few more subsets of persons to be executed (e.g. ‘neo-confederates’ who ‘decide’ or ‘attempt’…).

Thanks for the clarification Lud, can’t wait to see the lists!

    430- LudwigVanQuixote +1
[...] I never said that AGW deniers should be exterminated. [...] I said, that those in power who block AGW legislation, and create the anti-science propaganda are guilty of contributing to mass murder. I said that those corporate goons, and pet politicians should be tried for crimes against humanity and punished exactly like any other mass murderer would be punished. [...] As to wannabe neo-confederates and neo-nazis who decide to rebel against America or to attempt to tear down this nation, if they do so, much like their Southern predecessors, they deserve the full and lethal attentions of the army.
