So, if this _was_ a mosque, rather than a hotel, that would somehow prove…what?
Wouldn’t it prove EXACTLY what the Right says: mosques are fine, wherever. However, even though it’s legal and constitutional for the Ground Zero mosque to be built within 3 blocks of the World Trade Center site, there are serious questions about the mosque’s funding, the imam’s anti-American and anti-Semitic views, the need for a mega-mosque in a non-residential area, and the motives behind people who want to build a mosque three blocks from where Islamist terrorists carried out the greatest atrocity in American history.
I remember when LGF was the site that fact-checked your ass. So sad. And Charles has nowhere to go–the left will never take him back, and when he gets frightened again after the next atrocity, the right will never trust him again. Go back to bike-blogging, Charles.
