BTW it has been a good week for the science side of the house in the CAGW controversy.

McShane and Wyner kicks out the last breath of Mann’s hockey stick, showing bad maths/statistics used by the alarmists.

    http://climateaudit.org/2010/08/14/mcshane-and-wyner-2010/

New Zealands high priests of climate (NIWA) are being sued over data accuracy of the temperature record.

and…. Christopher Walter Monckton, 3rd Viscount Monckton of Brenchley is generally giving the climate fortune-telling industry fits through release of a new series of videos.

Here’s a guest post of his over at WUWT.

On the bright side for Lewd Wig, there will always be hamster cages that need cleaning.

to the tune of “Streets of Laredo”:

    Oh, Bangladesh slowly
    Sinks ’cause the land’s lowly
The nations around it build barrier walls
Against the refugees they’ve been told to expect when
The disaster of global warming comes to call

I like lvq. He can muster awkwardness like no other. Surely, this quote is not top of the pops. Must be losing steam.

How about his screed on overweight American consumers – ever see that one? That’s an oldie but a goodie. It was the first strong indication for me that he was a few clowns short of a circus.

Some drink from the fountain of knowledge. Lewd wig gargled.

Not sure if I remember that one. Sounds brilliant.

I must admit, I usually scroll lvq. And a whole lot of others. It’s gotten to the point where lgf makes me dizzy.

This was just the last in a series. Taken together, it was clear that he was claiming that Bangladesh was sinking, and the millions of refugees were going to be turned back, and the unhinged thing about this is the rather direct claim that the surrounding countries are already building a Great Wall of Bangladesh to keep them in.

Talk about a bum acid trip.

If it turns out he’s right, I sure will feel like an ass.

Lud does seem even more unhinged than usual lately, kinda coincident with his announcement he’s going to propose to his “lovely Miss S.”. (Guess she doesn’t read LGF or the proposal isn’t going to be much of a surprise.)

Don’t know, but I can’t help but think of Tiny Tim when I hear him talking like that.

And speaking of mental images, it was the other day when CJ was ‘explaining’ his 180 on so many issues that it struck me that “Karma Chameleon” (“I’m a man without conviction”) would work well for LGF’s theme song on at least three levels (the 180, the lizard reference, teh ghey thing).

        Hmmm…I wonder…

People do some very stoooopid things on the rebound.
