Gus802′s comment reminds me of the most inane graffito ever posted on the internest:
    “PENIS PENIS PENIS LOL.”

If I had the money,. I’d be happy to buy him a one-way ticket to Frogistan. All I’d ask is that he surrender his visa when he gets there.

Well, geez….I’m all tapped out after donating hundreds of dollars to out-of-state congressional candidates who are running against Dems that voted for 0bamacare.

Turns out that was a ginormous waste of money on my part since Obama’s doing all he can to make sure the Dem majority in both houses is gone baby gone with each new utterance of his.

But I think the desired to Gus’ utterances is “Oh no, Gus! Please don’t leave us! We’ll do what we can to make the United States of America even MORE of a progressive paradise free of anybody to the right of Evo Morales”.

How about “Put up or shut up, Argie quisling”?

    OK I am back.

Small announcement. Looking at the sick stuff the stalkers, Hotair, RSM, PJM, Fox comments etc… routinely post, has honestly colored my view of people too much. I do believe that they are representative of the sickness that is in America. For that they bear watching.

But I am not going to do it anymore. That much concentrated crazy makes you start thinking the world is even more messed up than it is.

It is sufficient to follow the news to see how twisted these creatures are.

I am simply not going to look at them again for quite some time.

One possible translation: We are really going to get our asses kicked in November, aren’t we. Maybe if I stick my head in the sand it will all go away.

BTW, his CAGW religion got a few kicks in the teeth this week as well. That’s got to smart, too.

I’ve wondered about this for a while:

As a conservative, I was happy when George W. Bush won re-election (I have to admit I voted Libertarian in 2000, so I was indifferent, but glad Gore lost). Happy. Content. Obviously there were times I wasn’t thrilled or was angry, but most of the time I was okay. I never worried about what HuffGlue, or Kos, or Olbermann or Katie Couric or whoever said.

Why is it so different for the Left? Honest question. They have absolute, unquestioned power–control of the Executive, Legislature, media, and academe. They elected their Messiah not two years ago. They’ve fundamentally transformed the country–nationalized banks and auto makers, socialized medicine, endless bailouts.

So why aren’t they happy? Why the rage? Why do they care what Palin or Beck or for Pete’s sake World Net Daily says? Right now Charles is venting his spleen on the fact that WND sells bibles.

    Really? Really? /Jon Stewart voice

They have everything they’ve ever wanted, and it doesn’t satisfy. Doesn’t say much about the things they value. I almost feel sad for them at times. They’ve ruined this country, and they don’t even have the comfort of enjoying their lousy t-shirt.

    • Arachne
      August 17, 2010 at 10:28 am | #20

I did the same thing – voted Libertarian in 2000 and Bush in 2004.

The trouble for the left is that they’ve finally got everything they ever wanted, and have awakened to find out the country doesn’t want it. They probably really, really believed that if they could just show us the happy life of government control marxism, we’d jump right onboard the train.

They hate the right because it’s the right that speaks to America, not the left. Therefore, the right’s icons must be held up to ridicule, denegrated and destroyed. And that includes Ground Zero, by the way. To the right, it’s holy ground, a monument to national loss and tragedy. To the left, it’s something we need to get over and look to building bridges.

Also, don’t forget that his attempts to be ‘blog-rageous’ are resulting in much lower traffic spikes each time he undertakes. His relevancy in the large community of bloggers is approaching zero.

While former posters achieve success and notoriety on other blogs or as authors/opinion leaders in their own right, Herr Chuckholz continues to hawk cookbooks and pester the remaining few posters for tips, while declaring himself and his own waning community up as ‘the only ones with the trooof’. Sounds an awful lot like a cult leader – so much so that a more apt name for his blog would be Johnsontown.

His outrage and performance art is specifically designed to get him mentioned on the national stage. Attacks Beck, Palin, et al. in hopes that some radio talk show host or Fox News pundit will mention his latest addlepated pratterings, a la Beck last year. The Boiled Frog thread was specifically designed to get him mentioned by Beck. And Beck, Rush, et al. have done the cruelest revenge possible – they have ignored him. They see this ploy for what it is.

I mean, what is he really? A weasel with a desk chair and Cheetos-stained sweatpants who had a successful blog at one time that was built on the work and research of others. He had a shining moment during Rather-gate, but he only knew about the spectre of forgery because his posters had brought it to him. The Reuters Faux-tography scandal was also brought to him.

Yet he persists day after day and has the audacity to continue screeching his outrage at legitimate pundits and authors as if he were somehow their equal. I swear, he’d attend a symposium on the Supreme Court and would jump up in the middle and tell Antonin Scalia he’s wrong.

      • August 17, 2010 at 1:41 pm | #27
