What’s with the Christophobia? Why is LVQ so suicidal that he’d rather throw his lot in with the Almoravids or Almohads (who massacred and forcibly-converted Jews and Christians en-masse) than Jaime I or Alphonso VIII (who were patrons of Jews in the Christian kingdoms of northern Spain)?

There are two things that are particularly bizarre and distasteful about the smug rant that tops this thread:
1) The first is the hatred, disgust and fear that the rant shows towards people whom the author considers to be somehow “lesser” than he—merely because they may perhaps have a different background, educational level, mannerisms, etc. He clearly feels that such people do not have the right to speak out or to express their opinions. This is a profoundly anti-American attitude, for all the author’s protestations of “Americanism.” The Founders had a belief, which the writer does not share, that even those with whom they profoundly disagreed had something to add to the debate and to contribute to the body politic. The attitude expressed above is a vicious and totalitarian attitude, not an attitude that expresses the American tradition in any way. It is also a profoundly non-Jewish attitude, but we need not go into that in detail.
2) The second thing is the level of content-free abuse of which the post is composed. There is absolutely nothing in the poster’s rant which actually addresses any attitude or opinion Palin has expressed, or any action that she has taken. It is, instead, merely taken as a given that some disagreement on some political position is license for potty-mouthed spew. This personalized abuse, utterly divorced from content, has been a feature of Leftist “discourse” for well over 40 years; one assumes this is because deep down the Left is aware that any sober examination of facts or issues will cause them to lose. It reduces them to sixth-graders yelling “neener-neener” during recess.

Loody, OTOH, is the epitome of intelligent and suave, and oh, btw – moral and upright. These delightful enlightening little jots of his are mitzvahs – so loaded with class and wit that they’re a gift to the world.

Just a small point. Nil has this thread with comment in the archives. Only one LGF person replied to Ludwigs rant. LOL.They just posted a gif of Palin and Biden. No other reply. Ludwig is totally ignored for that comment. He is doing it to gain our attention.
I don’t pay attention to what goes on over there, but I doubt many of them pay attention to Lewd Wig van Quack Quack. How do you take a guy like that seriously, even if you agree with his basic premises? You want to poke him with a stick, and make him wander away. He’s dirty, and his mother dresses him funny, and he smells.

Using “European” spelling is one of the cute little affectations favored by university-satellite poseurs, like crossing your sevens, writing a “1″ with a long serif, French-style, so that it looks almost like an upward-pointing caret, or using Anglicisms or a tinge of English accent to take the curse off your native Midwestern tones.
Back in the 90s I dated a woman of that very pedigree. We spent a lot of time in the Far East and whenever we would socially encounter Anglos from across the Dominion, she would start to affect this quasi-British accent. Since we grew up in the heart of the Rust Belt, it drove me nuts.
I think she crossed her 7′s as well.
