Lewd-squid VanQuackQuack predicts AGW is going to kill billions; Corpulent Blogger feels doubts about the benefits of the Internet

re: #14 Charles

Now I’ve seen everything. A sleeper popped up in the previous thread and defended antisemitic hate monger Father Coughlin.

I’m starting to think this Internet thing was a really bad idea.

This is all too much f*cking crazy going around.

Maybe, you could post some of those adorable baby animal threads. Honestly, the state of things makes me want to vomit.

And the smug smirking of those GOP idiots on the previous thread. AGW will kill billions if left unchecked. They simply don’t care and smugly, stupidly mock those who aren’t bought and paid for soulless corporate douches, and who don’t want to drive off that cliff.

Those are exactly the types that I feel should be tried for crimes against humanity.

Seeing that crap, and Coughlin in the same thread after seeing another post about attacks on relativity (Special relativity for crying out loud!) from the wingnuts, has simply turned me bitter.

For a guy who claims to be a religious Jew, VanQuackQuack sure loves to toss the “f” word around the infield.

I’ll agree with Charles on one point. Charles Coughlin was a anti-semitic raving lunatic that should have been assassinated.

Over the years Coughlin had managed to keep his antisemitism muted while he was on the air. After his split with Roosevelt and with the rise of National Socialism and Fascism in Europe, however, he attacked Jews explicitly in his broadcasts. Some historians attribute this change to Coughlin taking advantage of rising antisemitism around the world in order to keep himself relevant. Based on his speeches, writings, and associations, however, he appears to have had significant antisemitic sentiment throughout his career.

For years, Coughlin had publicly derided “international bankers,” a phrase that most of his listeners understood to mean Jewish bankers. In the days and weeks after Kristallnacht, Coughlin defended the state-sponsored violence of the Nazi regime, arguing that Kristallnacht was justified as retaliation for Jewish persecution of Christians. He explained to his listeners on November 20, 1938 that the “communistic government of Russia,” “the Lenins and Trotskys…atheistic Jews and Gentiles” had murdered more than 20 million Christians and had stolen “40 billion [dollars]…of Christian property.”

Coughlin definitely was an anti-Semite – a 1930′s version of Pat Buchanan only cruder.

The funny thing is, all of us who used to be there at one time also stood by the fact Coughlin was an anti-Semite.

It is a deliberate action on their part to paint the picture as opposite.

He must have allowed KT to use an old sock.

Couglin is a raging anti-Semite which I don’t understand. He is supposed to be a Christian. Christians should be the #1 supporters of Jews and Israel.

However, I did go over to LGF just to see what he was talking about. I never go there. However, I was very offended by the first post they have up. I have had the pleasure of knowing members of the Graham family. Franklin is not a “fundamentalist wacko”. And Franklin did not say that Obama was “infected with the seed of Islam”. What Franklin said is what Muslims say about their children. What Franklin would not say and will never say is that Obama is a Christian.

What is his fascination with bodily excretions and fluids?

Well, he’s got the execution thing in there again – at least you can’t accuse him of being inconsistent.

The British revert to Islam and scholar Marmaduke Pickthall said the same about the Armenian Genocide…

    Always blaming the victim.
