At first I was going to ask if maybe any of the un-commented comments were by me before I walked away, then sanity reared up and made me remember how little I care about what goes on over there.

        It doesn’t even show.

I know it doesn’t show, but I had a bout of temporary stupidity regarding wanting to know if I had been uncommented over there.

Then it passed and reality took hold.

Had this been anyone else teh Great Charles would have said “I will no longer tolerate these false, racist comments on my blog, that will be the last we hear from you. I also banned your 75 socks.” But now he is enlightened by Teh One (Obama) so these past mistakes are not be be worried about.

Damning as it is that the Right Racist Reverend Wright is ex-NOI, and that Obama was able to comfortably nestle under Wright’s wing for twenty years, the real problem is that the Right Racist Reverend’s church had, as one of its articles of faith, “the disavowal of middleclassness.”

This is problematic for many reasons, three of which bear pointing out now:

    1) Generally, the “middle class” is the backbone of the nation, so if Obama spent 1/5 of a century sopping up hatred towards the bulk of the people he is today charged with governing, that in itself is a problem;

    2) It is “middle-class” values that offer the black community its only hope for escaping the trap of ghetto life. The middle class is all about self-control and deferred gratification in the interest of achieving distant goals—a regimen precisely opposite to the live-for-today, semi-slave dependent mentality of those who live from hand to mouth or on government largesse. “Disavowing middle-classness,” therefore, raises to a theological imperative the rejection of the moral values that enable people to uplift themselves.

    3) Without in any way slighting Christians here, Judaism is the ultimate middle-class religion. By this I mean that the Torah is all about personal independence, each person content under his own vine and fig tree. The laws of the Torah are intended to make people as independent as possible, albeit responsible for those less fortunate. There is no aristocracy in the world of Torah law, and slavery—a necessary evil in ancient times—is frowned on and ameliorated as much as possible. The Right Racist Reverend with whom Obama worshipped for 1/5 of a century is an ex-Muslim, an admirer of Hamas (whose writings he has published in his church newsletter), a vistor to Libya in the company of his former spiritual mentor Louis Farrakhan. Wright is, in other words, a dyed in the wool antisemite, something revealed not only in his bellowed political sympathies but in his belief in the disavowal of middleclassness, for in this disavowal he rejects not only any belief in the tenets of the Torah/Old Testament upon which Christianity ultimately rests, but expresses his fundamental hostility towards that most middle-class of peoples, the Jews.

That puzzled me, too. If TUCC doesn’t think black people should be middle class, then what should they aspire to? Only two possibilities occur to me: 1) a permanent underclass, or 2) a system of racial apartheid with blacks as the overclass.

      Which one is it?

This Christian isn’t slighted in…the slightest. A Christian, if we all would remember, is nothing more than one sect of reformed Jew. One of the many reasons I never understood Christians that hassled Jews.

There’s the date, and there’s the time. There’s a reluctance here to link directly to that site for several good reasons, but it shouldn’t be hard to use standard search tools with the date and time.

Go to Google in the search field type, minus the quotes “site: ”

It is the first result now.

Or on LGF type the exact title of the post in the “Google LGF box”

While wandering down that thread, I stumbled onto this remarkably prescient comment at 249:

    249 Opilio Mon, Apr 7, 2008 9:20:42pm reply quote

I’m not so sure that if BHO is elected (heaven forbid), he’s going to be all that strong in 2012. The man will be in so far over his head, he’ll make Carter look,… , look,… like less of a loser.

That opilio guy was onto somethin’

Could be. I was unamused by Obama’s connection to Rev. “God Damn America!”. At the time this thread was originally posted, my comments would have been welcomed, even by the propriator of that blog.

I was just noticing on a different thread how many craters there are which are quoted elsewhere in the thread as Buzzsawmonkey.

I guess you’re somebody when your craters are your claim to immortality.

The shallow vain fool would delete his own archives if he had half a brain, it’s a treasure trove of material for his army of critics. Apparently he thinks the archive is of some value to someone. That type of thinking should get him a job on the Obama economic team.

He thinks he’s safe since only registered commenters can search the archives. Except that there are probably dozens if not hundreds of socks kept by ban-ees strictly for that purpose.
