The Jazz Man now criticizes the Iraq War
The Jazz Man was one of the biggest backers of the Iraq war. He was all gung-ho in the lead up and to his credit, never wavered in support during the darkest times. Now that he’s a Obamabot, he takes a shot at the war he once championed.
The Jazz Man has no honor and is spitting on the grave of the 4400 who sacrificed to at least pull out a military win there. Also the war had little effect on the economy as we had 6 years of economic growth. This is intellectually dishonest and shows that Charles “Icarus” Johnson has no honor.
Have you no shame Charles?
Update: The Jazz Man criticizes the cost of the war now. If that bothers him, then the Obama Porkulus pay off to Progressive interest aka. The Stimulus cost more than 8 years of Iraq. The war at least was militarily won, while the stimulus was a failure. I bet he doesn’t mention this little fact, does he?
(Update Hat Tip: Gulfloafer)
Update II: Here’s the Jazz Man defending the war and pointing out Saddam’s connections to Islamic Terror groups. He uses Michelle Malkin as a source.
Here’s the Jazz Man using Victor David Hanson to defend the war.
The Jazz Man uses a Melanie Phillips article to show Saddam had Chemical and Biological weapons
No matter what he does, Charles can’t escape the fact he was a supporter of the war. He is a liar and can’t hid from the truth.
Here is the Jazz Man wishing our troops success when the invasion of Iraq began.
Here is Charles claiming that Progressives love Osama.
Since he is now a Progressive and using his logic, he supports Osama Bin Laden. After all, he claims the Left does. He is now a Leftists and he actually supports Islamic Colonialism now.
How times have changed.
(Update II Hat Tip: M)
Update III for the helluvit: Here is a post of the Jazz Man mocking Rachael Corrie aka. St. Pancake, who you are no longer allowed to talk bad about at LGF.

No he has no shame at all.
Foster sits stunned on the floor, looking at his rocker, and wonders why he’s not on it anymore.
Close to a trilion dollars. Over seven years. Your buddy Obama spent twice that in a year and we have nothing to show for it Chunky.
Stick to comic books Chunky. It’s what you’re almost good at.
I think that comment of Charles’ was mostly about walking back his prediction that Obama wouldn’t criticize Bush in his speech tonight. And not to agree with Charles, but I was never particularly comfortable with the whole “nation building” meme, and now after eight years even less so. At this point I’m pretty much on board with John Derbyshire:
I agree!
Operation Iraqi Freedom was launched in March of 2003. Out of that supposed trillion dollars over 7-1/2 years, subtract the amount that we would have paid for a standing army in peacetime, subtract for the additional cost for Afghanistan, too, and you’ll come up with a relatively low number for Iraq operations. As for casualties, compare that to the number of fatalities caused by gang violence in Los Angeles alone over the same period.
So is the Big Iguano also against the Afghanistan War? All of congress voted for that one save Loretta Sanchez-Brixy (who doesn’t count due to her brain’s high fat to content ratio.)
I have a link to the stimulus
wow…..
Hypocrisy, thy name is washed up ukulele playing fat ass pony-tailed comic book reading tricycle riding irrelevant blogger Nancy Johnson.
Oh, and his cookbook sucks.
It’s treif. I have no desire to waste money on it.
There are no kosher troll buttocks? It’s that nerve, right?
Hmm… Has Ludwig ever partaken in a troll buttock barby?
Only as the troll…
There’s only so many ways to cook macaroni and cheese and ramen noodles.
What? Charles Johnson is a hypocritical piece of shit??? Say it ain’t so!
Don’t get me wrong, I think Charles is crazy scum of the highest order. Definitely s hypocrite, a man of no principle, friendless, and a liar (calling Obama a racist was just “hyperbole” and “my site wasn’t anti-Muslim it was my unmoderated commentors,” “ROPMA”) but is he really saying he didn’t support the war with that comment tonight? No matter what your support of the war one could argue it was expensive and did hurt our economy. It wouldn’t surprise me if that’s what he would say he was saying.
It’s not the war that hurt our economy, it was a combination of many screw ups originating in Congress.
I’m not disagreeing. Just trying to maybe point out that you could be for the war and still think it was expensive.
The war did not cost a trillion dollars. Johnson is either misinformed on dishonest (most likely dishonest). And he gives no link as to where he got the trillion dollar figure. According to the CBO estimates , the war cost just over $700 billion, or 3.2% of all federal spending.
Chunky’a a moonbat now. Moonbats pull their statistical figures out of their butts. If it sounds like a credible number, go with it.
Of course, the opportunistic sled dog can’t complete his contrived idealogical pivot and get on the good side of Kos or MediaMatters without openly disavowing his prior support of the Bush Doctorine.
I tend to think hardcore professional lefties aren’t the sharpest
bulbstools in the shed, but even if I’m greatly overestimating their intelligence, I suspect they’d be able to see through his transparent ploy.Ostracized by the left and the right and nothing to do but send in the whiney little lackeys and hangers on to defend his honor when somebody says something about him….
The only thing more pathetic than being a bloated, doughey has-been libelblogger is being at his beck and call.
selrahC, are you dead?
Brain-dead, for sure. He pretty much is as good as dead, what with his gross obesity and inability and unwillingness to move. He told un-Mata-Hari to just drill a hole in his chair and put a bucket under it…
Arizona has a message for you, Chuckles. As you are so fond of saying, “BITE ME™”!
let’s grant the trillion dollar figure for a moment.
GWB spent a trillion dollars to free 50 million people, BHO is spending over s trillion to enslave 300 million people.
Personally I don’t like spending money on Freeing people. We should of smashed them. But that’s a policy debate. Thats aid, Charles is really being dishonest here.
I have recently become acquainted with someone who was in Iraq during Desert Storm. She is not in good shape at all. The reason . . . chemicals! She and members of her platoon were moving some objects and got splashed with something at the time was not considered anything serious. They took their precautions then, but it did not help. It was some form of chemical war materiel. She is relatively young . . . maybe in her 50s. But she cannot live on her own and cannot work. Her skin is in horrible shape, and her nerves are absolutely shot.
These were chemicals used on Saddam’s own people. The only thing that I objected to about Desert Storm was that we really didn’t finish it. We liberated Kuwait. Meanwhile . . . Saddam was still out there killing his own people.
So, I honestly do not have a problem with the Iraq War. I am sorry about the loss of life (a friend of mine lost her 20 year old son by a roadside bomb). However, when you are the strongest (or used to be at least) nation, you should not just let innocent people being hurt and/or killed. Unfortunately, it still happens every single day . . .
Case in point . . . an average of 50 people are killed every single day somewhere around the world simply because they are a Christian. No other reason.
Once again Johnson show us how willing he is to abandon his principles and convictions. Such people can never to be trusted. Ever.
Oh…My…God!
Does selrahC have any idea how ridiculous he is making himself look? There is something seriously psychological going on here.Even the Puff Ho’s, Marco’s and FDLs of this world won’t touch him with a redwood.
If he had an ounce of sense, he’d disband LGF, let his Manson minions know where to find the new location by email, and start afresh under a new name and a new personna. Because this? This be stupid.
