The Jazz Man caught in a lie yet again

September 15, 2010

This is becoming all too common, Charles “Icarus” Johnson caught lying. His latest smear is attacking National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) and their  “The Southern Experience” gathering. The attendees dressed in traditional Southern gear and even some dressed as Confederate generals. There were Blacks as well dressed in traditional clothing and the Jazz Man claimed they were dressed as slaves.

He is caught clearly lying. The blacks in question were dressed as Gullah, an African-American people who live in coastal South Carolina and Georgia. They have preserved parts of their ancient African tongue and are known for story telling. This was pointed out by one of his blog groupies.

Rather than admit his error, The Jazz Man digs deeper and sticks by his lies.

Wow, so celebrating the culture of the Gullah and having some come to the gathering is celebrating slavery?  Charles “Icarus” Johnson is lying and being intellectually dishonest. This is just a nail in the coffin of his credibility. This man clearly needs mental help as his hatred for all thing Southern consumes him. He even hates Blacks who are dressed in a traditional costume to celebrate their heritage.

Give it up Chuck, get some help!

In Southern Africa they were known as the “Gallah” slaves, and were not reallyslaves at all but were rescued from Arab slave ships by the Royal Navy and settled in SA. Charles blew his final credibility when he was caught altering his own archives, now his anti southern bigotry is showing him to be ignorant as well. However anyone who watched “Gone with the wind”, “North and South” or any of the Civil War movies, or even read up on the civil war knows that the Unionist uniform wwas blue. He is such an incredible fool.

To fanatical ideologues, people are not people. They are cartoons characters in the Narrative of the Enlightened. That’s why “progressive” totalitarians can kill them so easily.

That’s also why people like CJ can dehumanize both slaves and slaveholders alike.

Southerners, both white and black, like stories. They like history. To them, their ancestors are real individual people in real communities.

Actually, that is a Confederate generals uniform. The Confederates wore their rank insignia on their collars whereas the Union wore theirs on their shoulders. Aslo, Confederates generals wore navy-blue Kepis with gold braid, while the Union wore black. The blueish color is actually a shade called Cadet Grey, which was favored by many of the officers in the South over the grayer colors of the enlisted men.

One of my neighbors participates in several Civil War battles a year. He was trying to get me to join them, but I just can’t put on the uniform and pretend to die with a straight face. Even though it does sound like a lot of fun, and it’s…SHHH!…really just an excuse for a weekend of revelry. Not “Reveille,” I don’t think.

P.S. He’s African-American, an engineer at Ford. Not a slave, either…he wears the Union Blue in combat. Maybe he’s a freed-slave, I don’t know. I didn’t want to mention the s-word, when we were talking about it.
