Obviously LGF isn’t the same place it was Pre-O, and actually seems pretty diametrically opposite of what it once was, but still…I don’t get it?
Why dog the guy? I’m as curious as the next person as to the 180, but at what point does dogging turn to, obsessing?
Regardless of his current state, I gotta give the guy props for opening MY eyes and for being one of the early vanguards against creeping sharia here, abroad and opening the eyes of many on the unpleasant, harsh realities of the ROP.
I have to ask because I just don’t get the fixation, and curiosity got the best of me.

A fair question. I won’t bore you with details so I’ll make it short and sweet: He has a reputation that he obviously does not deserve and needs to be exposed.
I have only been here for a short time, and maybe it’s not my place to answer your question..
But let me share my viewpoint on it.
It’s an question that leads to a many faceted answer.
And part of it is right on the mast head of this blog

There is a definite relationship between the swamp and here.
When Chuck spews patently false statements, there is no true mechanism at the swamp to call him on it, or you risk banning.
That gets taken care of here.
There are over 1,200 original posters at the swamp who have had their accounts blocked, many of them for no reason at all other then Chuck having a bad hair day when they posted something that did not violate any of the posted rules there.
A fair portion of them feel, rightly so, that they have been wronged, but have no other avenue to address it. Many of the blogs that have been created by former swamp posters simply would prefer to move on, and not be focused on bashing Chuck around the clock. This blog gives an avenue to vent without having it splatter onto the other blogs.
As this blog becomes better known by the swamp dwellers, it gives a chance for the newbees there to see how disingenuous Chuck has been about his views and actions.
Perhaps one of them will see him in a new light and question if he deserves the servitude that he demands. After all, what grownup would actually subject themselves to another person telling them where they can go, and what they can post, or risk banning.
And finally, there are times it’s just damn fun to tweak Chucks tail through the various swamp dwellers who come here to lurk, and then skedaddle back over there and say “Charles, guess what the lurkers are saying about you now”

I used to think of the old LGF as an Internet version of the Playboy mansion.
You know…Always a party of some kind going on, hot chicks, interesting guests, catered food and drink, and everyone pretty much knew what was acceptable behavior, and last one out turn the lights off.
Looking at LGF today vs. how I remember it…it seems all the hot chicks have left, the caterers are on a cash only basis, and the guests there now somehow either jumped past or bribed the guard at the registration line to get in.
And let’s face it, Hugh Hefner without the chicks at best reduces to a mildly interesting guy, in a lifeless mansion who spends too much time in his bathrobe.
