Chuck, repeating a lie doesn’t make it true

September 20, 2010

Back in June, we here at The Diary of Daedalus caught Mr. Johnson red-handed being ludicrous. Well, it seems  that bullshit tastes just as good the second time at LFG:

Draw your attention specifically to the claim about the Texas platform calling for criminalization of gay marriage, and compare to the DoD debunking.

How’s the BS taste, lizards?

It should be noted that Homosexual acts have been illegal in all states until the last 30 years or so. Probably still are in Montana and a lot of states. I know in Minnesota fellatio and cunnilingus were banned when I read the laws about 25 years ago

And the point is that whether you keep them on the books or not, the are rendered inoperative by Lawrence v. Texas. IOW, they mean zip.

But Chuck’s worried that manquey-spankey is going to be outlawed…

How does one criminalize gay marriage? You either are married in accordance with the laws of the state or you’re not. If gay couple have a “marriage” ceremony performed in a state that does not recognize gay marriage, it is simply a ceremony without validity.

Oh, and someone should remind Chunky the Wonder Twit that every time gay marriage is on the ballot, EVEN CALIFORNIA, it is voted down. No, people don’t believe gays should marry, any more than they believe polygamists should have their multiple unions made legitimate. What’s that expression you Obamabots were using not so long ago? Oh, yeah – “We won. Live with it.”

He sure is sensitive to the gay marriage issue.

Hey, it just occurred to me. Maybe what puts the “un” in “Un-Mata Hari” is testosterone.

      “It’s a man, baby!”

This is what Charles Johnson now posts for threads – compare it to what he used to post (actually he used us to do his research for him). How lame and impotent!

I guess I wont be moving to Minnesota. lol! Actually any state that would vote in Al Franken deserves to be avoided.

Homosexual acts were first decriminalized in Illinois in 1961. At that time, the Model Penal Code, a project of the American Bar Association, advocated removing all criminal penalties for private sexual acts between consenting adults as “victimless crimes” which needlessly subjected otherwise law-abiding citizens to criminal penalty, and which absorbed law enforcement resources which could be better used on more serious offenses.

A number of states subsequently followed Illinois’ lead; some did not. Texas was one of several states where the penalties for conviction for an act of consensual homosexual contact were particularly draconian—IIRC, one could get twenty years in prison.

I weep no tears that such laws are now consigned to the dustbin of history, and see no reason that they should be revived. But since they have been invalidated by the Supreme Court, there is little chance that they will.

Creating a new “right” to same-sex marriage is an entirely different matter.

I’ve seen his sexuality questioned a few times, and Lord knows he’s a bitchy little girl of a person, but who knows? His sudden switch-over does remind one of Andrew Sullivan/David Brock, when you think about it. Flighty as fuck.

A couple of brief inquiries into this aspect of his personality:
    http://dreadpundit.blogspot.com/2010/01/so-thats-it-lizard-is-gay.html
    http://americanpowerblog.blogspot.com/2009/06/is-charles-johnson-gay.html

Personally, I don’t have a problem with gays. There are a couple of close-relatives who are way out of the closet, and my daughter lives with two gay guys from her musical theater program (she’s a soph in college). I’m sure we differ politically, but then, I differ politically with my daughter, and differ radically with my own college self of 30 years back. ;)

Straight or gay, Chunky’s a douchebag, a liar, a back-stabber, and…well, we could go on all day. And we do.

With such great content Chuck is posting, i was shocked to learn that so far today the most comments he had received on one thread is approx. 280, and that was about a LGF Pages update. Kinda hurts when you ban everyone?

Not for nothing, but it appears obvious his brother is gay, as described in this note from this article: http://www.nysun.com/on-the-town/blogger-who-helped-to-dislodge-dan-rather/8711/

It certainly shook Mr. Johnson’s soul, already profoundly scarred by a bitter divorce in the late 1990s. The Web-design venture, which he runs with his brother, Michael, a former dancer who lives in San Francisco, and the blog, which he edits alone, allowed him to immerse himself in work and put his marital woes behind him. So successfully, in fact, that he now takes to the road on his bicycle in order to get away from the blog. By the time he returns, regular visitors to the site are already demanding to know where he is and why he hasn’t posted anything in the last two hours.

Bet he misses those old days, when there were lizards aplenty who supported his site monetarily and actually gave a shit about him. He should get back on the bike ASAP, whether he chooses to use a standard bicycle-seat or just ride the pole…he really needs the exercise!

It may come as a shock, but there are male dancers who are not homosexual, and some even live in San Francisco. That someone lives in San Francisco and/or is/was a dancer does not “obviously” determine someone’s sexual proclivities.

Noticed that LGF’s Wiki page contains this line: “He frequently references climatologist Peter Sinclair in posts about global warming.”

Peter Sinclair is NOT a climatologist! He’s got no professional credentials to support such a title, even if that title is as nebulous and varied in meaning as this one. The fact that Chunky uses his absurd videos as Gospel-truth debunkings of AGW-skeptics who have schooled Sinclair ruthlessly on the rare occasions they bother to notice him, is something that should be mentioned on the Wiki-page, if anyone cares about accuracy there.

    • September 20, 2010 at 10:49 pm | #21

I don’t think they do care about accuracy there. Every time someone adds some truth to chuck’s wiki, the minions change it back within minutes.

Interestingly, if you read the LFG Sinclair threads, Chuck never calls him “climatologist” (or scientist); he always calls Sinclair “environmentalist”. In this case, Chuck’s more accurate than Wiki.

My, my, but aren’t you a retarded fuckwit. Let’s look in the platform, shall we?

    http://static.texastribune.org/media/documents/FINAL_2010_STATE_REPUBLICAN_PARTY_PLATFORM.pdf

Marriage Licenses – We support legislation that would make it a felony to issue a marriage license to a same-sex couple and for any civil official to perform a marriage ceremony for such.

SChmuckie used to disparage the AP for slanted agenda-only reportage, but now he treats them as the paragon of truth.

I remember more than once posting a link at the other place to some news item only to find not much later it was the topic of a new thread, sans any form of a hat-tip. Not that I really care for the credit, it was very apparent that only his ass-kissing minions got any credit even then.
