Actually, it’s perpetrated by governments and liberal groups as a way to exercising behavioral and economic control over the populace. Fortunately, we’re smarter than that.

Also they reveal the maturity level of 12-year-olds with the mandatory ‘teabagging’ remarks. The argument you get from types like that is “hey look, they call themselves that.”
Yeah. Some 50 or 60 year old person who has never in their life heard the term teabagger (and most assuredly not in the Urban Dictionary context) might have called themselves a ‘teabagger,’ so, hey, OK! All bets are off now! Whoo hooo! They’re free to use the term until they’re blue in the face.
Never mind holding themselves to a higher standard of discourse – you know the one that they claim to possess in maintaining their cultivated air of superiority – never mind that. Let’s absolve ourselves of personal responsibility and standards so we can use a juvenile term repeatedly and giggle like junior high kids with an inside joke.
Anyone who uses the term “teabagger” automatically invalidates their own point because they prove within the span of a nanosecond that there’s no actual interest in dialogue or debate to be had. They’re judge, jury and executioner from on high and they have to keep the riff-raff down you know.
Again, using that term shows me that you have no regard for your own conduct because ‘they use it!!!1111.’ For people that supposedly are above the fray and superior to others it amazes me that they have no qualms about using a term that they should know better not to use if they care about how people view them.
This is typical of Charles Johnson, he has very limited debate and critical thinking skills, so he relies of fabricated smears and absurd ad hominem as a response.
Unable to debate on the subject of Climate Change, he relies on smearing his opponent as a “denier.”
In this case, unable to debate AJStrata on politics, he relies on smearing him as a… climate change denier. Heh, AJStrata wins again.
Note: AJStrata was one of the few bloggers to stand with Charles Johnson when he began his meltdown. When AJ visited LGF after a thread defending Charles, Johnson immediately attacked him on the subject of “Climate Change.” Naturally, AJStrata won that encounter handily whereupon Charles taunted Ludwig the AGWpsychotic by saying “we have a denier on thread xxx.” As one would expect, Ludnut jumped to that thread and began insulting AJStrata with vile Ad Hominem. Typical idiocy at Little Green Smear Merchants.
AJStrata has his own excellent blog and only makes very occasional comments on LGF.

There’s a big divide in America, and it’s between those who were brought up around a lot of racists and those who weren’t. It’s hard for each group to comprehend the other. Just as it’s hard for those of us who didn’t grow up in the midst of racism to understand what that is like, it’s hard for those who did to believe that their experience wasn’t universal.
This leads to a dichotomy over how much benefit of the doubt people should be granted. People like Strata believe in a lower standard of proof than I do. Johnson takes that to a ludicrous extreme, and requires proof that one isn’t a racist.
And it’s as simple as that.
This is the equivalent of the “Yeah, well, your mother [insert subject and verbs]” retorts that occur on playgrounds.
Let me use a Chuckian argument on him: you’re a fat ass, washed up, ukulele playing, comic book reading, tricycle riding, pony-tailed douchebag.

This M.O. (see above, Chuk) is classically demonstrated in his *wink* debates on global warming. Here’s how it goes…..
1) Link to generalist commentary or activist video
2) Wait for objections on scientific terms
3) Ignore the scientific debate, try to get an ad populem denouncement of the dissenter.
4) Hope LVQ shows up with more links from 199X or 2000-2003 showing that polar bears are dying, Greenland is evaporating, and Mongolians are having turf wars because of glowball warming.
5) Watch the up-ding/down-ding war ensue as LVQ rebuts scientific dialogue with more links and occasional references to Sarah Palin, natives of anywhere south of Columbus, and Walmart shoppers in general. Self-references to his own killer instincts including his ‘homicidal testicles’ are included, lest any lizard enjoin in confrontation to his assertions.
6) Watch the original poster try to interject an actual scientific question into the discussion, only to get the reply ‘Why are you a racist’?
7) Watch the ‘innocent’ (aka those that know it’s a really screwed up situation) bystanders try to change the subject to fish recipes, tadpole-rearing, and Central Park jogging.
8) Scroll past someone posting that ‘my grandfather’s best friend died in a major global warming accident and that makes me an expert through empathy, rhetoric, and most importantly through a Wittgenstenian understanding of the meaning of the terms ‘global’ and ‘warming’. (Any guesses which junior slug this refers to, eh?)
9) Admonish one of the last remaining conservatives as he/she queries ‘Even if AGW is true, does Cap and Trade deliver when one goes through the CBA?
10)Provide additional links to previous posts that link to the same content in hopes that the reader won’t know that he/she is running hyper-laps. Add comment to the effect of ‘Haven’t you read my previous posts on this? Are you an idiot?”
11) Watch thread carefully in case a late poster provides a new rebutting link or valid counter-argument. Ban him/her and go upthread to label the poster a sleeping sockpuppeting dead-threader that down-dinged all intelligent folks.
12) Wait for Dark Falcon to make a comment about feeling his buttocks get warm or something.
13) Listen as Cato pretends to dissent, but considering he has no job and no life outside of masturbation and commenting on LGF, leaves himself wiggle-room to come back at any time as the ‘Tugger of the Ancients’.
14) Bans anyone down-dinging comments (other than those made by that denier dude).
