Chuck Johnson posts Dishonest and Misleading Headline

September 28, 2010

OMGPONIES!!! Right? Except when you, y’know click the link, you get the rest of the story:

There are other factors at play, including the lead time from the initial announcement to the event, which can either compress or extend out booking patterns.   Also, within about 2 weeks of Mr. Beck’s event, there were effectively no hotel vacancies in Washington DC.  So, we can’t extrapolate and say we are going to see a bigger event.  Perhaps the data shows liberals and moderates tend to be more conservative and book more in advance or maybe it means that conservative activists tend to be more self-reliant and liberal with risk taking.  Or, most likely, it doesn’t mean much of anything. As Mark Twain would be apt to say, perhaps ‘figures lie and liars figure’, so we’ll just let somebody else do the figuring,” said Smyth with a grin.

Kind of like that hockey stick that you’re so in love with, Chuck. You think it means something because you’re an idiot.

No one really cares about a story like this unless you’re out for the spiteful rub in, so that appears to be the motive here. Kind of a weak one, even by CJ standards.

Seems to me the content over there remains kind of thin. Heh.

I wonder how many rooms have been booked in blocks by unions and other progressive groups for the buses they will no doubt be sending? Care to think of that Chuck or are you just looking to bash Beck based of of hotel reservations weeks out.

That is Sunday, isn’t it. It will be interesting to see how many people the Leftist Machine can get there. Very interesting.

And then watch Andrew Breitbart ask them how much they’re getting paid, and if they get bennies.
