Introducing…Memory Hole Mosaic

September 28, 2010

A little housekeeping…

I hope nobody minds, but I took the liberty of adding a handy page underneath the banner.  “Memory Hole Mosaic” is pretty much just that; a collection of deleted thread screenshots.  Clicking on the thumbnails takes you to the corresponding thread, links and commentary.  Neat huh?   and its nothing more than 1st grade html  The page itself has a comments section, too.

I’ll also mention that, for reference, the general memory hole threads should be organized via the lgf memory hole tag.   Tags are good!

Oh, and anyone with an anonymous tip can hit me up on my contact form.

Thank you for your attention.  Carry on.

…and, yes, the throbbing LGF memo will be in there. this is a work in progress!

I’ve grabbed a few that haven’t been posted yet. Here’s the most notable, perhaps the first mention of the LGF Dictionary:

    LGF Dictionary (from 1/7/2005)

I have a few others, but seem to have temporarily misplaced the URLs.

    =====

I also wandered across an old (2003) thread about Muslims in Belgium with a comment exchange between CJ and someone I assume is Nodrog. One of them was warning of the dangers of neo-fascists like the Vlams Blok, and that someone was NOT Charles. Checkout the screencap. It could probably be its own DoD thread.

I did get that one, but keep ‘em coming!

I suspect that this this will be a quickly expanding page at the rate Charles is going.

Oh gosh I hope so. Then I can start moving stuff around and see if I can make another image appear!

I have the ENTIRE thread of the Dan Rather memo, from 9/9/04 if you want it, Minotaur.

It came out to 79 jpgs and 8 zip files.

OK. I just reeled in another one and it pissed me off.

Why the F*** would CJ purge “There are no words” from his archives?

That post, without words, depicted the quintessential difference between Good and Evil.

It still chokes me up 5 years later… But he flushed it.

What exactly is he disowning here???

    WTF?

Yea the “no words” one is on deck for a thread. No worries.

Hey guys, be assured that no more articles or comments from the past can ever be memory holed.

Charles is frozen in time, forever.

Why am I picturing a fat version of Han Solo right now? Secondly, would his ponytail snap off if the slab got dropped on its back like Han’s did in the movie?

That exchange with Nodrog is precious. “Awfully thin ice,” indeed!

I noticed Chunky’s featuring a quote from eco-hysteric Rachel Carson in his ONT. I’m sure he is unaware of the fact that she is now considered one of the worst, most-damaging figures in the whole environmental movement. Millions upon millions have died or suffered from malaria thanks to her spearheading the misbegotten campaign to ban DDT.

    Excerpt:

    Rachel Carson’s Ecological Genocide
    By: Lisa Makson
    FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, July 31, 2003

A pandemic is slaughtering millions, mostly children and pregnant women — one child every 15 seconds; 3 million people annually; and over 100 million people since 1972 –but there are no protestors clogging the streets or media stories about this tragedy. These deaths can be laid at the doorstep of author Rachel’s Carson. Her 1962 bestselling book Silent Spring detailed the alleged “dangers” of the pesticide DDT, which had practically eliminated malaria. Within ten years, the environmentalist movement had convinced the powers that be to outlaw DDT. Denied the use of this cheap, safe and effective pesticide, millions of people — mostly poor Africans — have died due to the environmentalist dogma propounded by Carson’s book. Her coterie of admirers at the U.N. and environmental groups such as Greenpeace, the Sierra Club, the World Wildlife Fund and the Environmental Defense Fund have managed to bring malaria and typhus back to sub-Saharan Africa with a vengeance.

“This is like loading up seven Boeing 747 airliners each day, then deliberately crashing them into Mt. Kilimanjaro,” said Dr. Wenceslaus Kilama, Malaria Foundation International Chairman.

    ————————————–
Isn’t that special? Well, not as special as the moonbatty-quote Chunky selected, about fairies and wonder:

If I had influence with the good fairy who is supposed to preside over the christening of all children, I should ask that her gift to each child in the world be a sense of wonder so indestructible that it would last throughout life.

    — Rachel Carson

That quote encapsulates exactly what’s wrong with Chuck’s science cheerleading. Science isn’t supposed to be wonder-driven, it’s supposed to be dispassionate fact-finding. IOW, Carson and Johnson not only get it wrong, they get it exactly wrong, and exactly backward.

Speaking of DDT and the whole “billions will die!”-theme that is so popular with Lewd Wig and his master, check out this upcoming movie:

Grisly proof of what happens when you let eco-hysterics run rampant in society, without fact-checking their asses. The same syndrome is seen in misbegotten programs to force societies to invest in non-viable “green energy” technology. The AGW-hoax is finally being revealed to the public-at-large, but the money-making-machine that drives it is too big to stop easily. We have to waste a few more trillion on the bullshit, first.

I have been curious about the recent bed bugs in NYC. Have new eco-friendly methods caused it. From what I have heard the easy methods to kill them involve things such as setting the dryer oh high, etc,. All this the eco-nuts demanded we stop doing.

There are literally thousands of der fuhrer’s postins over the course of seven years that are the complete opposite of his current positions.

I can’t help but wonder if der fuhrer will reverse himself once again when he decides his cyber rag needs a boost.
