What’s wrong with that, Chuck?

September 29, 2010

The Jazz Man is obviously OK with Companies breaking the law. He is upset that Meg Whitman is proposing to fund border security measures with fine on companies that break the law. This is plain common sense but in Chuck’s world, it’s evil!

The Jazz Man is OK with law breaking. He descends lower and lower into the Progressive pit.

Notice the use of the phrase “undocumented workers”. He’s completely adopted the verbiage of the open-borders left. They’re not undocumented, al-Chuki, they’re here illegally. If they tried to “document” themselves, it would alert the government that they broke the law in coming here. Not that that would matter much in Johnsonville. He’s clearly for amnesty and a porous border.

You know, they don’t call an unregistered machinegun an “undocumented” machinegun. They call it hard time in the Federal Pen. Why are we letting Mexican Drug Cartel gangsters with machineguns invade our Southern border? These are the modeern-day visigoths, and we do nothing.

    Chuck, that’s not a bug, that’s a feature.

No overnight thread for last night at the swamp…

My favorite: Calling illegal aliens undocumented workers is like calling drug dealers unlicensed pharmacists.

A $50,000 fine PER ILLEGAL on the company, combined with a week in prison for the head of H.R. would put an end to the demand for illegals pretty quickly.

I think the 50K each would be enough to scare most into compliance with the law, the prison time would scare the hold outs in to complacence.

This is such a “so what” post by Chuck. It’s like posting “The death penalty kills convicted murderers.” It’s not like he’s trying to encourage debate about the topic-we all know what happens if you disagree with him. Maybe he’s trying to smoke out the remaining conservatives.

Precisely. When I saw that, my immediate reaction was “no shit, Sherlock”. He’s implying that it’s a bad thing, without stating why. It’s a good thing to force all citizens, including corporate citizens (in the legal sense of the term), to obey the law.

He not only wants selective law enforcement for certain people, he also wants it for certain companies.

    What is wrong with cj?

He went back to his leftist ways. They were there before 9/11.
Not to mention he shifts with political winds. And in this case
when he shifted with obama….epic fail.
Not to mention epic fail of his blog.

I think the question was, what’s wrong with penalizing companies that hire illegals.

And to answer that question…..nothing is wrong.
