I’ve been wondering lately what the DoublePlusGood Ministry of Truth over there has to say about Oriana Fallaci. At one time, not all that long ago as shown in the web archives, she was nearly Patron Saint of Anti-Muslim Imperialism.
Oh, she was dismissed as just another fascist a long, long time ago.

This is the last of the LGF threads that I was able to get screenshots of. So, this is kind of a grand finale to the “rescued” series.
Up next, we have the threads that are truly lost (no archive page or google cache). Tried I did, but came up empty. Still, there are ways to prove that they were once there, but I’ll probably need some help. Should be fun!

Yeah, I’m pretty sure it was, although I have no idea when.
It was not done immediately after Fjordman fell out of favor. When CJ started leading the minions in the two-minute-hate exercises directed against him, I went back in the archives and read his posts, which were still there.
Of course, that was right at the very beginning of the “trial.” Fjordman was still being grilled in Lubyanka. Once the verdict came in and he was cast into the Gulag of Unrighteousness, CJ might then have ‘disappeared’ him from LGF entirely. Who knows?
Interestingly, if you do a search, there are 20+ threads that are still up on LGF where Fjordman gets the old “hat tip”. If you add in the 9 threads above, along with the handful of those Fjordman threads that I couldn’t recover, one is left to conclude that CJ thought this guy was a pretty cool at one point (in 2006, for the most part).

Racist? Nah. Idiot yes. I was in a long debate with him, and when he lost he decided that editing my post, calling me a hyper-right jewish extremist was the best he could do. For a usefulness, I’m neither jewish or an extremist. But I gave up when he broke into ad-homs.
I have to be honest, that doesn’t sound like the Fjordmann I know. He’s always been a staunch supporter of Israel and the Jewish people and it’s unlikely, as far as I can see, that he’d insult anyone by calling them “right wing”. Do you have a link?
There are many posting by der fuhrer still there, but subject to becoming “disappeared”.
It’s easy to find them using simple search words like: dhimmi, dhimmitude, islamism, religion of peace, ROPMA Islamic supracism, etc…even “moonbats”
He has 7 years worth of that.
I suspect tons of material have gone into the Fat Ass Memory Hole. I can’t even locate my old comments. I commented often on LGF from 2002 thru 2006.
Depending on who you used to be, he may have wiped you. He did me. The only way you can tell I was ever there is from when people replyed to me. Something I’m glad of, really, given what Charles has turned LGF into. I wouldn’t want to be associated with him, and am ashamed that I ever was.

The 90 or so Sep-Nov’01 posts that you list as disappeared (1084-1783) are missing from an LGF archive I have that was made in Dec 2001. I’m pretty sure if they went missing that fast, they were probably never made.
The exception is Post #1110 which CJ apparently did flush:
That’s interesting. I haven’t found any date/timestamps on non-disappeared posts bracketing disappeared posts that would definitely rule out that the posts at one time exists (e.g. non-disappeared posts with timestamps just a few minutes apart that bracket one or more disappeared posts – haven’t seen that). The posts almost certainly existed at one point, since they’re all numbered sequentially. Maybe they never made it out of draft mode, or were quickly deleted test posts. Anyway, thanks for the info, it seems pretty dispositive that, those posts anyway, weren’t part of the latest round of revisions and deletions going down.
And by the way, if anyone can get better than the flyby versions of these threads or any of the other “rescued” threads with a link or on screencap, by all means, let me know. I’ve already updated some of the Flight 93 threads once I found better archive links (in other words, saving the comments), so this series and the mosaic can serve as sort of a wiki and be improved upon as more help arrives.

Eh you can search my name and his, he at one time had a long lasted archive posted of all his ‘discussions’, I think ours hit around 35 pages give or take. Which has probably been scrubbed by now, because of the anti-hate laws there. Really it’s moot at the end of the day, I just ignore him unless something irritates the piss outta me.
