A Torch Is Passed
After the dust has had a chance to settle, and the glow of a burning landscape fades away, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on what shall come to be known as the Battle of Al-Guardian™. I believe we’ve witnessed more than just an epic flame war here. This is a very symbolic changing of the guard. A moment in history where the past and present meet, and pieces of them fly everywhere.
Like a bolt of lighting, a fabled warrior strode onto the battlefield, then leapt into combat at the most opportune moment. Even exiled, she fought alongside her banisher, as if by instinct. Her presence, though brief, was felt by all….
Already in the danger zone was LudwigVanQuixote, the promising soldier who volunteered for the LGF special ops unit just months before. He entered the fray with something he picked up back at base, when he ran up Boot Lick Hill one cold morning in his pajamas. In an ingenious act of efficiency, he copied/pasted all the good stuff (“our gracious host” and all that), leaving a nasty concoction for the enemy to decipher. Under heavy fire, and through the heat of battle, LudwigVanQuixote stood his ground, fighting into the night. Even past bedtime. I mean, who else could this honor go to?
BTW- I can’t remember who came up with the graphic. I’m pretty sure someone made it for IR at some point. I can’t even remember where or when I found it, but its just as hilarious now.
the former poster JamesTKirk made it for her tongue in cheek for all the stalking she was doing and her blog. She was proud of it and used it as her avatar for a couple weeks past JTK’s banning. Someone eventually pointed out to her that she was being mocked.

My guess is there’ll be no more dribs and drabs of deletions – there’s way too much bad stuff for that – that the next move will be, like Charles telegraphed, from 285 to 28,455 (i.e. all pre-2008 threads). He’s probably working on the code right now.

Good fodder for a smackdown thread. Business licenses are a local city thing, private guards are state registered.
A check for an LGF business license, in his city of operation, may be in order.

He is a veteran, like many of us, and knew she was unable to visit her son (A Marine) who was going on tour.
Through the kindness of his own heart, pulled the necessary strings, and made it possible for her to see him before he left.
She treated him like shit, despite the fact he showed nothing but class in leaving LGF, never mentioning a bad word, flounce, or departing shot.
All the scum ganged up on him. He became persona non grata for going elsewhere, as well as making it a rule that LGF was not tbe bad-mouthed at C2.
