A Republican Congressional candidate recently made a statement about supporting an arm revolt. Clearly this is a fringe opinion and one I don’t support. However, Democratic politicians over the years have also made radical statements like Maxine Waters justifying the 92 L.A riots. Snork said this would be the Jazz Man’s new post of the day. He was spot on!
Chuck just post that you hate Republicans. You’re an intellectually dishonest person who picks on Republicans for any statement, but give Democrats a pass. No wonder your traffic has collapsed, you have no consistency.

It is a reasonable response to a stupid question. Not a :tactful response, I’ll grant, but a reasonable one.
Sounds like Brad Watson, in Chuck’s own words, was prodded to say that. But yes, it was stupid question. My question is..if those evil racist Republicans with Palin as POTUS win power and some Democrat called for the violent overthrow of that Administration, would Chuck condemn such a statement as insane? I think we all know the answer to that.

Using simple algebra this proves Republicans are 283/11 = 25 times Bad Crazier than Democrats – it’s settled science.

Overthrow of a government should always be an option if that government acts outside the constitution and becomes a law unto itself. Thet’s probably the point Watson is making. If the German people had overthrown the National Socialists in 1933 when they removed all freedoms, WW2 would not have happened. Last year in Honduras, the then President Zelaya tried to do a Chavez and make himself President for life. Fortunately, the army moved swiftly to remove him and that county’s democracy was saved. Years ago, I worked at a chemical plant, where one of the operators had a master’s in psychology, and another a master’s in English. The psychologist was a social worker for a while, and just couldn’t deal with the drama. He said they were a bunch of babies, calling him at all hours of the night with stupid stuff. He also made more money spinning valves.
