Of course it’s a joke. “Fusion jazz”—aka balloon-squeeze music—has nothing to do with the genuine jazz article.

I think the question of if he’s serious depends on PTs posting history. Is he an ass licker? It was a joke. A trouble maker? A joke for now, but his name has a tic mark beside it.

It’s a joke because if Charles were actually pissed at him he would have mocked and/or insulted inviting all to downding the commenter going forward. Upon request for clarification by the commenter he would not respond and the commenter would then know that they are on thin ice. The commenter could then expect rude intrusions into his comment conversation where Charles tries to escalate and expose him as: an AGW skeptic, a Creationist/ID proponent, an Imam Rauf detractor or someone who thinks Republicans might be included among homo sapiens.
Sad thing and a comment on the state of things there is the poor bastard isn’t sure where he stands on something as innocuous as his taste in music.
