What will Chuck Say?

November 2, 2010

From futureofcapitalism.com, a piece on “How the Left will Spin the Election Results“.

1. In the context of historic midterm elections, it’s not that big a deal.

2. The foreigners bought the election.

3. The Republicans won, but they have no mandate.

4. The voters are ignorant.

5. Obama wasn’t “liberal” enough.

6. Obama is still the front-runner for 2012.

7. It was the fault of Summers/Emanuel/Orszag/ Insert the name of (preferably Jewish) departed staff scapegoat here.

8. It’s Bush’s fault.

With this in mind, What Will Chuck Say? What will he blame the disaster that awaits his ideology on?

Oh, Chuckles will blame bad craziness on the Right, and the Sarahmonster, Eeeeevil Glen Beck, and, no doubt the Bilderburgers and Illuminati for this. Anything but his precious Obama and the Holy Democrats. None of this will be their fault. You can bank on that.

Personal responsibility does not exist within the Progressive paradigm of “Victim & Victimizer”

At some point, Al-Chuckie will say “Careful review of the results show that the Pubbies are still losing power. Democrats finish in strong second place…Pubbies struggle to a next to last place finish.”

Chuck will pick the one race where a Democrat eked out a win and declare that the Democrats did far better than expected. He will post obsessively about that one contest and declare the tea party an utter failure while ignoring the historic drubbing which the Democrats receive.

    • November 2, 2010 at 9:46 am | #5

He will cliam he defeated Christine Odonnell.

That’s exactly what he’s going to say.
He’ll ignore the Tsunami and point to the few elections the Dems won.

And if Boxer squeaks through as expected, that was also due to a California blogger.

I agree with you. He will focus on the one Democratic upset to the neglect of the the rest of the Democratic defeats.

He will claim he was responsible.

Just like he claimed he helped NY23 go Dem last year.

Actually, I have a feeling he will shut down all comments, save his own socks and inner inner circle

Immediately the Republicans will own all the problems (e.g. the economy) that didn’t even register on the LGF radar pre-election.

True. “Funemployment” will morph into “unemployment”, and it will proceed to suck for the first time since Bush.

Johnson’s usual MO is to ignore the big story, and search for some tiny negative story about conservatives or the GOP, perhaps a false report of GOP intimidation or violence at the polls, or voting irregularities. Look back at any big positive story for the right: johnson ignores it and goes off on some negative tangent.

I would like to know whose dick he sucked to get on IBD’s list of top blogs. By what possible criteria could lgf be considered one of the “best political” blogs: johnson mostly just posts links to stories with a bit of snark: zero analysis, zero breaking original stories.

I look to the inclusion of Balloon Juice, an even more useless, snide and vapid blog and conclude that, like lgf, they were both included because they have converted to right-bashing blogs, and journalists love that. I don’t see any of the Hillary-allied blogs (like Hill-blog, who recently wrote a manifesto that is the antithesis of johnson’s “I hate the right now” screed in that it actually has substance, and it’s breaking with the left) now bent on destroying obama on there, but of course the MSM only loves righties who go over to the other side, not the other way around.

Look for johnson to say nothing, other than decry how now the right will be empowered to hate on everyone who isn’t a jesusjumper and creationist and climate denialist and how stupid everyone is for not “getting” obama.

I wonder if he’ll start featuring IBD’s many articles on Islamofascism. ;-)

also, if Palin campaigned heavily in a certain race, and the Dem (or Murky in AK) wins, he’ll gloat over that.

Chuck will claim the election was stolen by astroturfing and begin to lobby for limits on free speech – or at least speech that he disagrees with.

Open wide for the hubris sandwich about to be crammed back down your throat, Chuckles! Maybe your kapos Kilalgore and Luddy will help you munch it down…

What will Chuckles say? Predictably – “Hey, un-mata-hari, where’s the Doritos and guac?”

That girlish figure didn’t happen overnight you know….

As stated above, he’ll claim victory where there was none and whine that his arms hurt from all the banning stick swings.

    Happy Sock-mas everyone!!!

After a 50 seat house pickup, Obama will say, “Now the Republicans say they gained 50 seats in the house, but in order for me to continue my agenda, I need your support.”
