November 4, 2010

There is this innovation called irrigation.
And desalinization, if this myth ever came true.

He bragged that he’d “taught” 6,000 students at the University. What exactly does he teach, besides Hyperboly and Bloviation?

Did he say this recently – that he’s a teacher?

His polemical, post-normal physics always sounded like it came from academe, and/or from someone who’s suckling from the government funded AGW teat, a connection he seems to admit today:

I take it very personally, not because I am a physicist – who researches this very topic even

Unless he’s doing his research pro bono, some pro-AGW outfit is quite obviously paying for him.

According to LvQ, conflict-of-interest connections like that disqualify the arguments of AGW skeptics; but not AGW true believers, don’t expect logical consistency from Ludwig the ‘scientist’. Apparently his supply of logical consistency is all used up by him doing his science, none left over for the balance of his ratiocination. Or just maybe his scientific research is just as poorly reasoned as his posts?

      • November 4, 2010 at 7:52 pm | #7

ROTFLMAO… Oh please, “not because I am a physicist” is a straight up admission that he is not a physicist, while at the same time he is attempting to allude to his being a physicist. This is called deception by admission.

People who are educated in the sciences have a methodical approach to their thinking, that approach shows clearly in the written correspondence, anything even resembling methodical logical reasoning is utterly devoid in Ludwig’s rantings, ergo he has never been formally educated in the sciences.

        It really is that simple.

The collapse of our civilization as we know it will come if and when people listen to whackos like the Lewd Wig.

Really, Quack Quack? The only problems the farmers have in California is a bunch of Democrats in D.C. that won’t release the water for irrigation in order to protect a two-inch bait fish that isn’t even indigenous to the region.

Oh, and Quack Quack – where are all those Category 5 hurricanes we were supposed to have yearly? Where did those go? And why is the polar bear population increasing if they’re all dying from being stranded on ice blocks in the middle of the Arctic.

The ski areas of the Sierra all already open for business.

“billions of deaths and the collapse of our civilization”

Wasn’t that their reaction to the elections on Tuesday? ;-)

    • November 4, 2010 at 7:19 pm | #14

That’s what they hoped would happen if they didn’t get their own way.

      It didn’t.

Since I know they all come here, they just can’t resist, I’ll add to the list of the banned, and maybe, just maybe, I can save one soul. I had walked away, hadn’t posted in quite some time, till Tuesday. I just could not resist. So, I made a snarky comment about reading the bill after it was passed to see what was in it and was, typically, called full of sh&^ by Iceweasel. My reply was a delete worthy F*&^ you. She always attacks the poster, never the actual comment. I noticed the deletion and replied to her post again with this (to the best of my memory)

“Since the original reply was deleted, I will reply again.
I answered Snark with snark and as usual you attacked the commenters instead of the comment, typical. My original comment stands”

That was it, nothing more and one can easily search for posts by Stonemason. The only deleted posts, as far as I know are the FU and the one above.
For you who are reading this, yes, I was banned for telling Iceweasel off…think about that.

gt, they don’t need to think about it. They know it and censor themselves appropriately. Grown men and women are afraid to opine because they might lose their anonymous commenting privileges at a freaking blog. It is beyond pitiful. You dont need them.

So, I was banned for arguing about AGW with Lewd Squid. I didn’t even get an “FU” in at the time, though I did make him THIMPLY FURIOUTH on that and other occasions. Others have been banned for less, such as for down-dinging one of the in-crowd, or being spotted posting at another, blacklisted blog. The ban-stick is a cruel master! Billions will be banned, civilization will collapse…

Is there anything funnier than Lewdy’s “billions will die”-meme, in regards to the Myth Of AGW? I get a big laugh every damn time. :)

I had him frothing once when I pointed out that it wasn’t the billions he was worried about, it was his own lifestyle. It was the fact that if those glaciers melt, as they all claim, some of those freshwater inland seas will return…they all seem to forget that. The earth is a closed system, for him to say that there will be no water is pure insanity.

SideFx :Ever notice how these nuts always end everything they say with “if we don’t change course”? At what point are we beyond the point of changing course so they can quit using that excuse for us still being here?

It varies by the level of water in the goldfish bowl on the nut’s nightstand. Some of them use the level of firmness in the bodies of their inflatable friends, known as the Barometric Reading. A third group uses a ratio of the two readings, adjusted by the relative amount of noise generated by “Mom upstairs yelling about getting a job or something.” The latter method requires a firm grasp of Algebra.

  15. November 4, 2010 at 7:17 pm | #28

There are well over six billion people in the world.

Last I checked, the death rate was still one to a customer.

So I have to concede that billions will die, eventually. I’ll give him THAT much.

    Mostly of old age!

No but the environmental left sure is trying to make it happen. First time in human history there’s an actual, factual, glut of food and they want people to roll over and starve to death.

Ya know I’m coming around to that point of view. I think i’ve been giving him too much credit, thinking he could be really intelligent and logical and precise in one part of his life (his putative physics) and yet be a total ranting loon everywhere else, Godel, Cantor, etc notwithstanding.

Now, wait just an aladam minute… Aren’t those envirowhackos the ones bitching about how Earth is overpopulated, and that the numbers of pesky humans need to be drastically reduced? So, why in everloving FUCK do they even care that “billions will die”? According to their ideas, massive human deaths are a Good Thing™… So, WTF? Actually, it’s a rhetorical WTF, because these abysmal idiots have no idea why they feel and emote (NOT think!!) the way they do. So, when some drooling leftard starts whining about “unsustainable human population”, right after whining about how “billions will die!” I say: “Yo, asshole, I thought, according to you, massive human extinction was good… So, set the example and post-partum abort yourself!”

He is crazy. Look at spains ‘green energy’ bubble, they even have a near constants of ideal wind. If anything it’s hemoraging money because no one wants to buy hydro generated at 80c/KWH.
