What’s the Recipe for Macker’s Killer Smooth Nacho Dip?

November 5, 2010

I know this may sound hard to believe, but I was actually entertaining the idea of buying that LGF Cookbook.  What can I say? I need to cook more. But when I was checking out the preview, I found something a little surprising:

If this is the same Macker that we see from time to time here at DoD, then I’m hoping he’ll see this and post it up. I love nacho dip!

Also, I have to wonder about the timeline, since I believe that Macker has been banned for some time now. Did this slip past the Cookbook Girl?  Is it cool to have a banished, “creepy stalker” in the LGF Cookbook?   Gamey buttocks!!!

Of course, I was also now curious as to the reason why Macker was banned in the first place, so from there the first stop for me is always the Nodrog. Sure enough, he pointed me in the right direction:

Stealth banned!   How cryptic. Hmmm…If I had to guess, Macker was on the wrong website, or hit the wrong lizard with his ding-a-ling.   And I wonder if Dark Falcon is still wondering.

Lastly, for the LGF Lurkers, here’s a homework assignment: Ask CJ if Macker was a “troll” or an ”LGF Operative“. (the subject may come up in a future thread) .

Interestingly, CJ must have gassed Macker’s main “LGF Pages” page (it says no pages found!), but the individual entries are still there via google search.

“Is it cool to have a banished, ‘creepy stalker’ in the LGF Cookbook? ”

Believe it or not, this subject did come up a time or two at the swamp. Since no one could ever be banned without ‘deserving’ it, outcasts were necessarily labeled as wicked. This presented a bit of a problem when the nics of certain bannees appeared in the cookbook. How could the production of a pure and holy site contain the mention of reprobates?!? What a dilemma, especially for the pious reine-de-tout!

As CJ began to swing his scythe in a wider and wider swath, I would assume the subject — like all inconvenient subjects at LGF — was dropped. Nearly all of the nics in the book, whether attached to cute quotations or to recipes or to cover art, had been damned to the fires of hell. So what was once a temptation to edit became a stark choice between officially ignoring the problem or ‘disappearing’ the cookbook altogether. ;)

I believe that that was Alouette who axed that famous question.

Didn’t alouette ask if she should tear the pages of banned lizards out of the cookbook?

        LOl that

        /bunk ~:)

Or they could have recipes such as “Banned Anna bread” and “Stalker stew” and Deuce mousse”.

CJ’s “can’t reveal some things” = My actual reasons make me look like a petty school child, so I won’t make them public. Now, I could dig through all of Macker’s comments to find one that would “prove” his sinfulness, but I really don’t have the energy to do that with everyone. Just trust me when I say he is a wicked man and deserves it. I know most of you will accept this verdict dutifully, and those who don’t will soon be gone anyway.

Yes, I’m very wicked wolfie. 8)
Now, to the matter at hand. The Killer Smooth Chili Dip is very easy to make:

2 Cans Hormel Chili (doesn’t matter
1 slab cream cheese, 8 oz.
    2 tsp. cilanto
    2 tsp chili powder
Combine ingredients in medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir constantly, and add cilantro and chili powder as it melts. Once completely mixed, remove from heat, and dip with tortilla chips of any type. Enjoy!

Yes, this is actually an improvement over the LFG recipe. Since those folks have deemed it fit to call me a wicked asshole, they don’t get to enjoy this like you can here (and at The Blogmocracy).

      Awesome, thanks!

And to this day does anyone know why you were banned?

If you just want to cook, there are free recipes all over the intertoobz. In addition, for reference, you can do what I did and pick up a copy of The Joy of Cooking at the used bookstore, and maybe pick up a nice ethnic cookbook at a church fund raiser.

My my my, how things have changed: Olbermann: The Worst Person on Television…Have you watched Keith Olbermann’s show for MSNBC lately? Last night I checked it out for the first time in a long time, and was actually amazed at how nasty it has become. (I thought Olbermann had reached the nadir of nastiness long ago, but I was wrong.) What kind of person enjoys this sort of ugly ranting and dishonest distortion? http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/31292_Olbermann-_The_Worst_Person_on_Television

As of today, Keith Olbermann has been suspended indefinitely, without pay, from MSNBC. Reason: he gave a lot of TV exposure to several leftist candidates, and then gave them substantial contributions without asking the network’s permission, in violation of his contract.

Well, into each life a little rain must fall. The man is a lunatic, a character assassin of the lowest order. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

      • November 6, 2010 at 10:16 am | #14

Yep…Olbermann had it coming, all right! I think his dismissal may also have had to do with declining audience ratings.

The sad thing is that a lot of naive people used to (and maybe a few unfortunately still do) consider Olbermann to be a valid source of news and information. He does look the part of a newscaster, and that’s enough to fool some people who don’t have the knowledge to sort out truth from arrant nonsense. Pathetic.

Somebody should ax Olby how he feels about the Juan Williams deal.

Sorry about the ‘Keith’ typo, but it filters out the boring posts about Keith Jarret.

So did they really memory hole the kukkuk book because it contained bannees?
