Is Chuck Stupid, or Is Chuck Stupid?

November 6, 2010

Scandal of the day:

Jeez, Looize, where do I start? Oversight committees aren’t “in charge”; they’re there as part of a system of checks and balances. They’re supposed to be skeptical. But the Fed itself is independent of any of the branches of government (in theory). They’re not “in charge”; that’s that bald dude who’s about to conspire with the administration to print a trillion in government debt.

And BTW, WTF is up with the stupid tags? Why Rand Paul? And WTF do the John Birch Society, Alex Jones, and the Constitution Party have to do with any of this?

Wait. Having an audit of the GO that’s responsible for the money is a bad idea?

Oh it’s simple on the tags, since a lot of search engines make meta-linked searches, you can drive website traffic by bombing an engine with bad tagging.

@ Mashiki: of COURSE it’s a bad idea…in the eyes of liberals.

But what about Vlamms Belang, Pam Gellar, and Robert Spencer. Oh, and creationism.

Is Chuck Stupid, or Is Chuck Stupid? Is the Pope Catholic? Does a bear sh** in the woods?

I keep tellin’ ya, it’s “Is a Bear Catholic? Does the Pope sh** in the woods”!

      /Steve Martin

That said…I may disagree with Ron Paul on a lot of things (most notably, his sheer ignorance of the Islam threat), but even a broken clock is right twice a day. The American People have a right to know where all that money the Demo☭rats are printing up and spending like there’s no tomorrow is going.

Given that Bernake is trying to crash the Dollar, maybe an audit is in order. I work with a Russian dude, and just the other day he was telling me about how it was in Moscow when he was growing up and you go to the store and buy bread for 3 rubles one day and go back a few days later and it would be 50 rubles. It looks like Obama/Bernake want to replicate those halcyon days here in America. Just to be fair, I guess. You know how progs go on about “fair”…

Frankly, putting Paul in charge of the fed would be a twofer: it keeps him out of trouble with his goofy foreign policy ideas, and replaces the fox at the Fed henhouse with a pit bull.

No way. He read about the Fed on wikipedia. And he explains in the comments that oversight is synonomous with persecution which is why he said Paul will be in charge. I almost reregistered so I could join the multiple updings. I’m cancelling my WSJ subscription and diverting that money to $10 a mo. at LGF.

Talk about a loony house. I liked Jeff in Ohio’s comment that: “This class is strangely like the 94 class in that they believe less government is synonymous with bad government.” So this conservative class is for MORE gov’t? No he then explains they want to make it ineffective so they can blame it for doing nothing. Uh OK. And the Fed’s been really effective? We’re in a permanent recession and according to these geniuses more oversight would be a bad thing. But aren’t these the same idiots that cheer when Bawney Fwank (of Fannie and Freddie infamy) and Chris (sweat loan deal) Dodd want more oversight and hence more cost to do business for financial institutions who currently aren’t lending or hiring?

And BTW, WTF is up with the stupid tags?

Can’t answer that question, but here’s a disposable web page with a chart that scientifically proves that by sometime in early 2011 every LGF top post will inexorably carry the tag “Bad Craziness”.

You think Chuck would actually support Ron “Neville Chamberlain” Paul…

“It’s the okyerpayshun! If we just stopped occupying Spain and Portugal and Andorra and southwestern France and gave it (al-Andalus) back to its original Moooooooooooslim inhabitants, then there would be peace and America could isolate herself entirely from global affairs!”
