The Cursed “LGF Operative”

November 15, 2010

I thought I’d follow up on the “hat tips” thread, and comment on a distinction of even higher status within lizardoid culture:  The LGF Operative

Front page “operative” recognition is an especially cherished honor, and LGF threads that adorn them have traditionally featured much congratulations in the comment section (usually including the lizard in question making an appearance akin to taking a bow).  The list of individual recipients is short, and they are considered true heroes in the lizard army.

At least, for a day or two.

Reality check:  As I found out with some scanning and cross referencing, the LGF operatives have an alarmingly high casualty rate.  Here is a chronological snapshot for individual recipients, along with their current status (linked to Nodrog’s summary, if applicable):

Note: Several of those on the list received the honor more than once, and in the cases of zombie and kasper, many times.  Please comment if I missed anyone.

There’s a lot that can be made of that list, not the least of which is the fact that “operative” status doesn’t appear to provide a “get out of jail free” card when it comes to the ban stick.   Moreover, a casual observer might look at that list and wonder if the distinction is accompanied by a painted target.

Those of us here at DoD will see this as further evidence of what we already know.  The Grand Lizardoid demands discipline, loyalty and unconditional agreement.  For even the LGF operatives who stray from the line will be tossed out, or worse:

From LGF operative, to “fanatic creationist freak”.  That’s harsh.  In addition, Zombie’s now a “back-stabbing little creep“, and Macker’s an “asshole“.  (I heard that BabbaZee was an “unhinged lunatic”, but someone is going to have to help me with a direct reference to that one)

So for the lurkers, keep this in mind when you feel the itch to be the next “lizard on the street”, or if you’re in the mood to pen another LGF love poem.   Was CJ really duped by all those folks?

    Good Question.

Evidently, it was the other way around.

ChenZhen you do a fantastic job with these archives. Btw it is weird seeing Evariste banned as he is now as much of a lefty as Charles is. Someone pointed out that Discarded Lies reads like LGF now and I went over there and sad to say but it is true.

Here’s four more, along with thread numbers they appeared in:

    27733 – Truumax
    27792 – JammieWearingFool

Well we know that JWF is a high-profile member of the banned, but I’m not sure about the other three.

Fjordman’s comment on Truumax via wiki:

The translator used for the radical Swedish left-wing website “Expo” material is a poster calling himself Truumax, who seems to think that the Sweden Democrats are a racist party. I asked Truumax whether it should be considered “racism” if native Swedes resist being turned into a minority in their own country, which they will become within a few decades if current levels of immigration continue.

Someone asked about Fjordman’s flounce. Here it is, from 16 Nov 2007.

Wow, Ringo the Gringo banned? When did that happen. I saw that he did not post on LGF for quite a while, but what did he do to merit the ban. Anywaym, LGF is now a cesspit of unhinged lefitsm and idiotarians. Sad.

What’s weird is how un-netsavvy some people are, making alters (sockpuppets) and not bothering to change their IP or use a proxy so of course this obsessed freak johnson, who sits there watching the login logs as recreation, is going to catch them.

Using a proxy can be a pain in the ass, and he probably subscribes to a proxy blacklist anyway, but you can change your personal IP pretty easily. I currently have 2 alters I use on LGF to very subtly tweak johnson and his suckups, usually by acting like I’m on their side and asking innocent, confused questions as to why there are such glaring contradictions to johnson’s bullshit, and asking for guidance, which usually comes with gritted teeth, but so far no ban. If he knew my IP he’d ban me in a second, but since it’s changed 20x since I last logged in there, the chances are pretty slim he’ll ever figure it out.

Other people stupidly comment with their cherished LGF handle on other blogs. Why not just type in some other name? He can’t read IPs on other people’s blogs (other than his sycophants’ blogs, who have supplied him with IPs of commenters before so he can mete out bans for disloyal remarks).

Now that registration is free I’ve regged several accounts to gmail accounts I’ve set up just for the purpose, in case there’s a mass chuck-fucking going on I want to join in with. Just change your static IP before and after and he’s none the wiser (even static IPs can be easily changed, google it if you don’t know how).

I never understood why people use their LGF nics when they are still memembers of LGF, on other blogs.

      • November 15, 2010 at 2:02 pm | #13

I will never understand why CJ thinks he can dictate where people post and WHAT they post, lol.

Yea I don’t see why anyone should feel the need to hide their nic from LGF when posting elsewhere, and the fact that people feel that way is very telling.

In my case, I was banned for exactly that (what I was posting on my own blog and elsewhere), but so be it. I’m not going to morph myself to accommodate someone’s extremely delicate sensibilities.

Depends. It’s almost impossible to change a Comcast IP.

      • November 15, 2010 at 3:48 pm | #16

ISPs parsimonious with IPs will usually hand out a new one if the modem sees a new MAC address (e.g. have your router clone one).

      This comment is ironic:

      “229 zombie Thu, Jun 10, 2004 10:26:41pm

I’ve just added reaganite to the growing list of us LGFers who make the news, instead of just passively observing it.

You’re developing quite a team, Charles.”

Then one day, Chucky decided to take the buzzsaw to the whole thing.

Depends. It’s almost impossible to change a Comcast IP.

nil stooge beat me before I checked this thread again, but yeah, almost ANY IP can be changed, “static” or no, if you use a router. Most people have several computers on a home network on the ‘net nowadays, and so you probably have a router in your system already. If you don’t know how to do it, google “change MAC address on XXX router” and you’ll more than likely find a step by step guide on how to do it. It’s not a bad idea to change your IP now and then, you never know what tracks you’ve left, advertently and inadvertently, and with so many companies spying on people’s surfing habits, I like to throw them a curve and change IPs.

swingin’ johnson -could- ban entire series of IPs, but there’s a great chance you’ll block many innocents with 222.22.*** type blocks.

You can still get past him with the many many “tunnels” out there nowadays which are primarily used to get past school and library and private network “blacklisted” sites. The one problem is finding ones that allow forms, which you need to post comments, and so it can end up being more of a hassle than it’s worth to annoy him. Using proxies is risky too because a lot of people belong to proxy block subscriptions, and if paranoid charlie finds you using a proxy he’d probably ban you just in case you are an interloper.

Making a big, asinine post (like the owner of this blog did) seems kind of dumb, it’s usually deleted in seconds and no one sees it. I think it’s funnier to subversively put little cracks in the wall of asssucking the normal LGMFers build around chuckles. Link to posts and news articles debunking glowball warmism and innocently ask how you can rebut your stupid denier friend who sent you the link, stuff like that.

Point out how Dems and leftists are trying to take away our civil liberties and achieve “income justice” and bemoan the fact that as bad as the GOP is with it’s Jesus jumpers and all, at least they still believe in liberty and free speech, and watch the lefties jump up and down.

johnson isn’t nearly as smart as he thinks he is, and even complimented me on a comment a while back which was a veiled subversive attack on him ;)
I wondered if he got it later, but my account is still not banned (neither of the ones I use regulary, I have a couple in reserve).

He calls people like me stalkers, but there is a real entertainment value in poking a really stupid asshole and making him dance like a monkey on a chain. johnson exploited the right when he thought he could make money from conservatives, he’s traitorous and dishonest attacks on them leave him fair game for satirists to torment him, which believe me, all of us do. It drives him batshit.

I did that, and then the cable modem crashed. It only started working again when I switched IPs back. Comcast is extra evil.

        November 15, 2010 at 5:24 pm | #26

I did that a long time ago, I should have said. I suspect that Comcast registers router MAC with cable modem MAC. It definitely doesn’t like the router IP changed.

        It’s a conspiracy.

Doesn’t he just outsource most of his current ‘operative’ work to Keith Olberman’s Awkward, Gangly Tranvsvestite Stepson Rachel Maddow these days?

Sharmuta was mentioned in a few front-page blog posts but I don’t know if she was given the honourific “operative”.
