Now that I’ve instigated a Digg battle, the poo appears to be flying everywhere. Some of it directed at me, of course, but so far I haven’t seen anything but ad hominems. Or, some theory on how my highlighting CJ’s revisionist tendencies shows how much the site has improved. I mean, there’s not much left in the tank here gang. Take this:

Yeah I read some of that over there, and noticed how absolutely awful the old LGF was in their characterizations of it.
So I was thinking … “who do they think was responsible for LGF, back in the dark days when it was overrun by hordes of political Neanderthals?”
Did the bad guys stage some sort of e-coup, or was Charles (gasp) ineffectual in managing his site, or perhaps a dupe, or (most likely) was he just too darn nice for his own good … what exactly?
Because you know in their narratives Charles was blameless back in the dystopian days of LGF.
Most of them are class of 2009 or later. LvQ is one of the elders, class of 2008. LOL.

Digg has some serious troll problems…
While true, you cannot post a “Geller Rant Generator” on Digg and expect fans of Geller not to react. Pretty predictable behavior, I would say.

LOl – strawberry jam is way under-represented IMO.
Here’s a graph I did the other day – a random sample of active nics on LGF based on year of registration.

No surprise – 2009 & 2010 are over half the active nics.
And note that it’s counting nics only – not comments. Total up comments at LGF by year of registration and the imbalance new/old is even more pronounced.
