This is my first “behind the scenes” email ever to an LGF member, but like you say you’re easy to find. I just want to say I support you, and that was a pretty shitty thing for him to do. All Charles has to do now is get rid of Buck and Steve and it will be “goose-step” heaven.

The purpose of this “contest” is to expose what people are saying behind Charles’ back. It’s not really a reflection on the person who created the email. The texts of these emails are honest and simply stating the truth. We are not trying to make out the person who sent the email as a dirty rotten scoundrel in any sort of way. The only dirty rotten scoundrel in this mix is Charles.
Except there is the hypocrisy factor if they continue to post & suck-up.

These emails could be any Lizards, active or not. I’ll state the purpose of the contest again…
Not every email I have that is pointing out the problems with LGF even mentions Charles. What these emails do highlight is that there was a friendly community of people with various ideologies, spiritualities and personalities who all basically got along with each other. They didn’t always agree, but no one was threatening to blackball or ban anyone (except in the most extreme cases). This community would even rise up and offer money, plane tickets, room and board, transportation and other charitable actions to help each other out in times of need.
LGF was what every idealist ever wanted, a “can’t we all just get along” environment, where we did gripe, argue, debate and at the end, work out our problems and disagreements. But for what ever reason that was too adult for Charles, that was too much liberty, too much freedom, to much like a microcosm of our democratic society.
Charles never left the right, he was a died-in-the-wool lefty who got mugged on 9/11 and it took him 6 or 7 years to recover from the psychological trauma of that incident. When he finally did recover he found that his blog had turned into a “small government” self determined entity, a place for conservatives, liberals, free thinkers and the occasional nut case, all self-policed and mature.
Not a comfortable place for a far-left progressive who had been in a fog for 6 years, imitating a rational and reasonable human being. He shook the founding fathers out of his head, metaphorically ripped up the constitution and went hell-bent-all-out-Stalin on his own creation. Of course, when pigs smell shit, they come running. He had the help of the Animal Farm brigade (Iceweasel, Jimmah, Obdicut etal) as partners in slime to help him out.
With in two years he had managed to bring down his own blog, repopulate it with 1/20th the amount of residents that it had before, and yet still able to delude himself into believing that what he had left had some sort of merit or note in the “blogosphere”. He went from mugged to self-deluded.
These emails are a chronicle of the Rise and Fall of Charles Johnson. They are a footnote to a lie (“Why I left the Right”) that surprised many across the vast network of servers and workstations that make up the internet. For one moment there was shock and awe, but as Johnson further isolated himself from reality, it all devolved into schlock and ah-fuck.

As a result of these emails, yet another long-time poster at LGF has emailed me to state that it was confirmed to him that iceweazel and jimma had a long list of people they wanted banned.
They would then co-ordinate with their groupies to taunt those folks until the targeted person fights back, and which point they would pile on and scream bloody murder.
They kept spreadsheets of the comments and up/down dings by the people they targeted for quick reference. (This is obvious from their posting and they are very quick with detailed links.)
This confirms, yet again, what I have heard from others who were in the sleazle’s trusted circle.
Others have confirmed to me that Charles was directly involved in this as well, emailing his sycophants to taunt various posters to try to drive them to say something he could use as an excuse to ban them.
This is the sick behaviour of the sociopaths who took over, and destroyed, what Walter has correctly described as “a friendly community of people with various ideologies, spiritualities and personalities who all basically got along with each other.”
Why Charles chose to allow these sociopaths to destroy his community is open for debate, but no doubt both greed and avarice was involved, as icesleazle provided him a connection to Soros money, and Soros is well know for funding attacks on conservative groups.

Beyond any shadow of a doubt, the topic has been proven over here, and beaten to death, that he was not fooled, not unaware, or had some intellectual epiphany concering the right leaning posters on his site for years prior to the shift. That is just flat out not true.
