“In Defense Of Charles Johnson” is a phrase I never thought I’d utter.

One of the recurring themes at Little Green Footballs has to do with threats Charles has received over the years. The few examples he’s posted are dopey emails of the “You Are A Poopee Weenie Head” type. Most of us snickered at the supposed death threats that he mentions from time to time yet he’s never posted anything to back up his claim.

It turns out that Charles’ claims may have some legitimacy. (Look at that ————>
but don’t click on it yet. We’ll tell you when.)

First, let’s discuss the term “stalker.” In Charles Johnson/LGF terms, stalkers are evil obsessed bottom-dwellers who have no conscience and live solely to make the “stalkees” miserable and paranoid by reading a blog they dislike and commenting on its false importance and ongoing inanity. That describes The Boiler Room Crew pretty well (except for the part of stalking that involves forcefully striking a BRC Engineer squarely between the shoulder blades to dislodge the foosball he swallowed while washing it).

The real world definition of “stalking” is a bit more brutal than coughing up unwashed foosballs. BRC Engineer No. 8 discovered and forwarded a cache link that we won’t post here. There are some very nasty types out there who really hate Charles Johnson, at least they did in April 2008. Here are two snippets, with personal information blacked out.

We have no problem confirming that one of the commenters on that thread from 26 April 2008 was this guy. What a piece of neonazi shit, as if there were any other kind. Now go back up to that funny little bar at top right and click on it to read the entire thread if you want.

The people on that forum are dangerous nasty, and if anyone from LGF is lurking here, including you, Charles, rest assured that The BRC won’t play that game. Never have, never will. This blog is intended for fun childish mockery only. Now go piss up a rope.

Charles Johnson can’t get over his jealousy of his one time crush, Pam Geller. While he wallows away fantasizing about Ron Paul led Nazis and the Michele Bachmann threat, Pam makes moves in real life. She is currently planning a cruise mocking the anti-Israel flotilla. The ship will be called the Audacity of the Infidel, in mockery of the Audacity of Hope ship that is scheduled to lead the anti-Israel flotilla. That Gaza bound ship is named after one of Obama’s books.

Charles finally joins in on the Pam bashing. He clearly didn’t realize the name Audacity of the Infidel is mocking the lead ship of the Gaza flotilla. It’s not a reference to Obama’s book!

Why doesn’t Charles and his followers get a flotilla of their own going?  All they do is criticize and never do anything in real life. Instead they make death wishes and mock others like Pam, who whether you agree with her or not, is fighting for what she believes.

What name would a LGF flotilla be called?

Memo to the Boiler Room crew – do some dumpster diving and come up with examples (attach as an update to this thread) about what the Corpulent, pony tailed blogger used to say about Baghdad Jim McDermott (circa 2002 -03).  James McDermott is a mentally deranged scum bucket congressman from Washington State who went to Baghdad to give aid and comfort to Saddam Hussein before the Second Gulf War, and if this Charles Turner Habermann guy  threatened him so what? Let the authorities deal with him, he is not our problem any more then the Left felt that threatening Bush and Cheney was their problem. Fat Boy has no problems with threats against Malkin, Palin, Bachmann, et al.

A 32-year old Palm Springs resident named Charles Turner Habermann has been arrested and charged with threatening Seattle Congressman Jim McDermott.

I wonder how the wingnuts will try to explain this one away.

The threats preceded by several weeks the deadly Arizona shooting that saw six killed and U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords severely wounded.

Habermann also disparaged Democrats for their views on tax cuts and unemployment insurance, according to the statement. Habermann is alleged to have threatened to kill McDermott in an effort to interfere with his vote on the tax cut proposal in December 2010. …

In one, the caller was heard calling McDermott “a piece of human filth,” “a communist,” and a “piece of (expletive) garbage.”

“Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, or George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, if any of them had ever met uh, uh Jim McDermott, they would all blow his brains out,” Habermann said in the first rambling message, according to charging documents. “They’d shoot him, in the head. They’d kill him, because he’s a piece of, of, of disgusting garbage. …

“Any you let that (expletive) scum bag know, that if he ever (expletive) with my money, ever the (expletive) again, I’ll (expletive) kill him, okay,” Habermann continued, according to charges. “I’ll round them up, I’ll kill them, I’ll kill his friends, I’ll kill his family, I will kill everybody he (expletive) knows.”

This isn’t the first time Habermann has been in trouble for threatening politicians, either.

Federal prosecutors contend Habermann was investigated in March after making similar threats against a member of the California State Assembly.

In that instance, Habermann was escorted from the assembly member’s office.

“During the meeting Habermann began ranting about the current federal health care bill and how Habermann was ‘very well off’ and did not want to support immigrants and Latinos,” Giboney told the court. “Habermann was described as agitated, paranoid, uneasy and couldn’t keep still.”

Sure, all that sounds like it came straight out of a Tea Party demonstration. But hey — maybe he once read “The Communist Manifesto?”

Speaking of Democrats who are unpatriotic, here’s the poster boy for this foul crowd; Congressman Jim McDermott, who went to Iraq before the war and criticized our president in the stronghold of our enemies: Wash. Congressman Questions Saddam Timing.

WASHINGTON – The Washington congressman who criticized President Bush while visiting Baghdad last year has questioned the timing of the capture of deposed Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Wash., told a Seattle radio station Monday the U.S. military could have found Saddam “a long time ago if they wanted.” Asked if he thought the weekend capture was timed to help Bush, McDermott chuckled and said: “Yeah. Oh, yeah.”

The Democratic congressman went on to say, “There’s too much by happenstance for it to be just a coincidental thing.”

When interviewer Dave Ross asked again if he meant to imply the Bush administration timed the capture for political reasons, McDermott said: “I don’t know that it was definitely planned on this weekend, but I know they’ve been in contact with people all along who knew basically where he was. It was just a matter of time till they’d find him.

This is kind of unusual, Charles Johnson fricking and fracking about stuff that he himself does on a regular basis. The difference is that Little Green Footballs does not affect national security (let alone much else) unlike the potential havoc that Assange and his WikiLeaks weasels can cause in the name of global assholery.

However, in this case Charles is right (even if it appears he’s had a few too many cordials tonight) at least up to the point where he threw out a non-sequitur insult to Mike Huckabee.

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin has taken out a protective order against a teenage stalker who claims he has had an affair with her – and signs off his letters with ‘your magic enemy’.

Shawn Christy, 18, has allegedly been sending emails and letters to 46-year-old Mrs Palin for more than a year.

But the potential presidential candidate only asked for court protection after Christy called and claimed he had flown to Anchorage from his Pennsylvania home.

According to a report in a local newspaper that obtained court documents in the case, the teenager sent receipts from a gun purchase to Mrs Palin and her longtime friend, Kristan Cole.

He also sent a rambling letter, which said he had tried to follow the bible but had ‘evil and wickedness’ in him.

In Mrs Palin’s request for protection, she said Christy started badgering her aides last summer with ‘frequent and persistent’ attempts to set up a meeting with her.

She said he threatened to track her down at book signings in Alaska.

A court document stated: ‘Petitioner and counsel allege that the respondent has made numerous implied threats in his telephonic and written communication, including references to his guns – telling petitioner that she better watch her back and saying that he is buying a one-way ticket to Alaska and sending the receipt for purchase of the guns.’

Mrs Palin testified that Christy was delusional in his statements that he has had direct communication or contact with her or her daughter.

The court document stated: ‘Petitioner also testified that respondent has falsely claimed to have had a sexual relationship with petitioner.’

It added that Mrs Palin’s lawyer, Thomas Van Flein, provided evidence that the secret service had investigated allegations that Christy had threatened or said he wanted to sexually assault Mrs Palin.

Christy was also said to have signed off letters to Mrs Palin with ‘your magic enemy’.

Ms Cole, 48, like Mrs Palin, is a former beauty pageant contestant.

In her court testimony, she claimed that Christy had told her that he had had an affair with Mrs Palin – and that ‘these accusations led her to believe the respondent was delusional’.

Ms Cole said Christy called on Monday and told her that he had landed in Alaska.

The court documant stated: ‘Petitioner is concerned because the respondent appears to be unstable and has stated that he believes petitioner is evil and that she needs to be punished and that he is coming to confront her to get her to tell the truth.’

But Christy’s family has maintained that the teenager was in Pennsylvania at the time he was accused of being in Alaska.

Anchorage Magistrate Colleen Ray granted the 20-day protective order and another hearing on Mrs Palin’s request for a longer order was set for October 13.

Ohh and stalkers, I know that making things up is your fav pastime so take these statements to the bank and at least quote me properly when I say something. I never said that AGW deniers should be exterminated.
