Charles seems to be happy with this sort of “tag team” piling on by people like Jimmad, Ice and Ludwig (and with a little help from Darthstar). Then you have the cheerleading squad Floral Giraffe, SFZ, B_sharp and company. I mean, come on, when they are piling on McSpiff and Avanti, two of the more left liberals on LGF, something is wrong.

LGF is fast becoming a far left (as in progressive) echo chamber, with about 15-20 active far left posters, and that’s it. It’s his prerogative if he wants a progressive blog, fine, but he doesn’t even have anyway near the traffic to support it. Look at Daily Kos and Huffington Post as examples of busy left leaning blogs.

That’s what LGF has become, all because of Charles.

Charles brags about PAGE READS, PAGE HITS, but if you notice, he never brags about the actual USER count anymore, because he has ¾ the amount of active users as he did a year ago, even less if you compare threads to 2 or 3 years ago. And Charles knows this.

Walter’s email dump has sure ruffled some proverbial (and literal, we’re guessing) feathers over at the swamp, to the point where we’re seeing loozards attempting to cope by just making stuff up in response.  Boiler Room Engineer ISTE thought that something didn’t sound right, so he fired up The World’s Greatest Blog Search Engine™, and chimes in to present tonight’s case-in-point:

DoD is proud to announce a new series! Now that it’s been revealed that Walter has been here this whole time, and that he’s got all kinds of interesting behind-the-scenes info in his email inbox, we thought it’d be fun to play a little game…

Simple rules, really: Walter provides the BRC with a random quote from either a) a current active lizard, or b) a lizard who was active at the time, and we guess who it is. The only clue provided will be the date of the email. To keep everyone on the level, not even the BRC will know the identity of the author.

Once the comments’ author is guessed correctly and/or revealed, we update the thread and give bragging rights with a hat tip! (only one guess per commenter, please; if no one guesses correctly Walter will fill us in within a reasonable amount of time)

By the way, we cordially invite the active loozards to participate in this game as well.

So, to them I say go ahead and post with your own nics if you wish. Or, if you want to remain anonymous, feel free to use one of our cool DoD gravatar emails (—>) in the comment form with some other (hopefully creative) moniker. Or, you can use a phony nic while identifying who you are on lgf to the DoD crew by inserting your real nic into a phony email addy for the comment form (ex. albusteve@gmail.com). We don’t care, but we don’t want you to feel left out!

This subject comes up every so often, so we thought it might be worth revisiting it one last time. It appears to remain as a source of confusion amongst the loozards, so the BRC is here to put the issue to bed once and for all.
